Medical and Spiritual Qigong (Chi Kung)

Home › Forum Online Discussion › General › Author: Richard Grossinger…Adi Da
This guy seems to be an interesting writer, I have two of his books that are pretty cool, PLanet Medicine both modalities and Origins..anyone explore his stuff? Look at the title of this book, “Embryos, Galaxies, and Sentient Beings: How the Universe Makes Life”
Seems Grossinger in a fan of Adi da…the avatar who is popular with Ken Wilber and others…Anyone have any opinion on Adi Da?
Adi Da, formerly Franklin Jones, student of scientology and Swami Rudi, can be somewhat objectively described as a spiritual meglomaniac, a self declared World Teacher. That Ken Wilbur has long since distanced himself from (one of his biggest career mistakes was endorsing him, in my opinion).
But he seems to attract people at a certain phase of their life, perhaps appeals to the hidden desire of many to be World Teacher. John Mann, owner of Big Indian retreat center, who along with Lar Short gave mantak Chia most of his tantric teachings, got into Adi Da for a while….then woke up.
Grossinger is a very interesting writer on science, I would be suspicious of how strong or current his connection is to Adi Da.

I had Richard Grossinger as a college prof at a small school in Vermont in the seventies. I am sure that he has long since distanced himself also.
I have notice that a few who declare that there is no self or that there is only the Self, and clain that they are egoless, have big egos.
