I have been thinking about beards lately as well as long hair in general and I am curious about the seemingly secret purpose to them. Why on earth can we grow ever longer hair on our head and faces? Other animals have a set length of hair growth. Some animals can continuously grow teeth or claws so they can utilize them as tools, we can grow face hair continuously? Perhaps it has an energetic use that I am unable to sense at the moment. Does anyone have any energetic beard/head hair experience? Maybe like an antenna? Or perhaps the more of you that grows into the physical world the more embodied or present you become.
There was an interesting article someone wrote about facial hair and programming language success. http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/tamir/2008/04/28/computer-languages-and-facial-hair-take-two/
not to mention all the cultures that would consider their hair sacred.
Just some fun things to ponder.May 21, 2014 at 1:14 pm #42508May 21, 2014 at 2:18 pm #42510
I have posted over and over here the untouched question of wisdom tooth impaction.. with no response
i.e., surely there is a channel connection evolution wise for beards, teeth, etc
obviously our vertebrate cousins have a natural shutoff mechanism, what happened with homonid males?..
interesting q of how long does a females hair grow if left uncut?
at the same time, wisdom tooth impaction is clearly a genetic abnormality
IMHO, it is coming clearly from a long term carnivore abuse…
whether the meat proteins are integrating into the genome (see olfactory queues passed genetically) and/or simply acting during gestation
the effect is that the mouth and teeth are corrupted in the direction of a rodent
the rear teeth are cud/vegetation grinders…
well worth looking into
beards appear to be a similar issue, some people have a natural cutoff, others do not
it is equally on level with glasses being accepted as normal,
there is nothing normal or healthy about a society schooling children into glasses
