I have a friend who is convinced that 7 generations ago someone cursed her and her family and feels an entity present at the back of her neck and she is looking for something to help her. She has seen many energetic healer type people who seem to all see the same story (even though she does not tell them) about the 7 generations and magic.
Does anyone know what can be done ?
Is dissolving practice any good ?

I don’t have experience with it yet, but at the higher levels of inner alchemy you deal with ancestral/karmic issues. I think it might be Greater or Greatest Kan & Li. Perhaps someone with more experience in this level can elaborate more. It takes a lot of dedication to get to that level though and is not a quick fix.
There is very little, in my opinion, to associate HT wit negative influencies and activities.

Do you mean that HT has no technique to deal with negative influences ?
Or do you mean that HT is not an origin of negative influences ?Interesting book. The same author’s previous book was called “Against Nature” which is an interesting idea. I think mankind does have to struggle with Nature in order to find himself, and that gives rise to many depraved behaviours. But later once he has found himself he can return to harmony with Nature with his own developed consciousness. And perhaps that is the cycle, we leave home and have adventures, and we grow, and then we return home. In ever widening circles.
And the apparent disharmony of human society is caused by the large differences between humans, being at very different places on this outward and inward rhythm.

Before my spiritual awakening I had a feeling I am cursed, and I could almost swear that it must have been so. But when I first felt inside who I am instead of who I thought or believed I am, all these thoughts about someone or something doing bad things to me dissolved. I believe we all create our world and we are so much preoccupied with ‘entities’, ‘curses’ etc and it can really become a self fulfilling prophecy. It can become obsession or an excuse taking one out of responsibilities of everyday life and its a perfect excuse to keep oneself in a comfort zone head trip.
That being said and assuming the problem is real and its nature the way it is described, here is a book about theory and practice of dealing with entities. I have never read it or tried anything of it, but I have done many other methods of the author. If he doesn’t want to buy a book about it I sure he can find the technique (which is few pages of text) by googling the title or the author.

Dealing with entities is daily life for shamans and they help a lot of people in this way. Now finding an authentic one is a real challenge in this world where everyone wants to sell something. If I was in USA I would look for some in Michael Harner’s school of shamanism. In central and south america there are many but even more false ones. I guess the best way to judge would be to see what kind of people go to the healer/shaman and do they actually benefit in their life or they just get stories to feed their head trips.Or again, Edouard Dubus, the young poet responsible for propelling the table round Berthe de Courriere’s apartment with his fingertips. Like Stanislas de Guaita, he probably died of an overdose of drugs. Just prior to his death (his body was found in the urinal of a restaurant on the place Maubert), he had complained to Huysmans of being followed by voices…from the beginning of 1891, Hyusmans also became prone to a sense of being surrounded by invisible forces, sometimes accompanied by unpleasant tactile sensations. In my opinion HT formula system should be efficient for these type of problems, but I wouldn’t ignore in some situation intensive use of mantras.
