Having read works on Empty force (lin kong jing) by masters like paul dong and kozo nishino three years ago, i have found breathing from the soles of the feet to be an excellent centering exercise. Plus, if i remember to couple the thought that earth, gia, is a living/loving being and then breath from the soles, the bubbling spring point(an accupressure point on the sole) starts to gently twitch. this lovely Tingling sensation tends to go all the way to the hip girdle but not all the way to the top. I have tried vrious iron shirt and sitting positions but it only goes till the hip area. i wonder why.
kozo nishino’s work: http://www.nishinojuku.com/
Mr nishino, from the photos in his book and webiste, seems to be able to hurl people around using only touch of his finger, but that is a lil hard to believe. but he looks excellent for someone hitting 80 years of age.
it seemed like this practice is capable of doing quite a bit. For me, its just a great relaxant that makes me feel as thought earht is lovingly feeding me.
Bone breathing is also as intense just that i feel a lil strained mentally if i do bone breathing for too long, for it requires packing the step of packing the chi and holding the breath.

Well said.
reminded me of M.Winn advising me to visualize standing under my own feet with crown connected to sole to help me with my grounding because of injury I was healing.

There is no need to be rigid in sticking to the way techniques may be applied.
I find bone breathing done in stance and with continous breathing pattern accompanied by emphasis on visualization of the white light cloud on inhalation and dark grey cloudy exhalation from the extremities of the bones (fingertips, toe tips, etc.)is very effective technique to experience the bone breathing process.I learned bone breathing also to be used as part of the packing process in Iron Shirt. It was the Yin phase after the packing. Just stand in iron shirt stance , embracing the tree and others, and do the bone breating practice. Done in between sets of Iron shirt packing process breathing in the various stances.

perhaps i could do the same for bone breathing; not visualize, just feel compassion for the blissful forces around me. somehow it has not worked so far. still at.
thanks,
usman.
