Five Elements
White Lungs
Blue Kidneys
Green Liver
Red Heart
Yellow SpleenYoga
Red Root
Orange Sexuality
Yellow Solar Plexus
Green Heart
LightBlue Throat
Indigo 3rd Eye
Purple CrownWhat can we make of this ? Things are very confusing on Earth aren’t they.
For Yoga, the usage of colour is simply from lowest to highest vibration ascending the body vertically with the stops being the 7 energy centres. So the goal is to get to the highest vibration, and there is an assumption that the higher up you go in the body the better. Note no Tantien – large gap between the sexual chakra and solar plexus chakra.
For Qigong, the usage is to see existence in terms of elemental phases, correspondences make with the organs. 3 Dantiens exist being Belly/ Heart/ Head. The goal is to flow in the natural cycles. Unsure how Qigong sees the functioning of the cauldrons, a place to refine energies perhaps ?
It’s all good fun and I am not clear it has anything to do with self-realisation, apart from being honeypots for seekers to play with whilst they wait for grace.
I suppose Qigong values the natural world and natural forces, and sees freedom as flowing, but yoga sees freedom as being at the top and simply uses the body as a thing to step over. Truth is though, as long as you are here, either at the top or flowing, you are still here. For salvation you have to not be on the other side.
The two correspondences of colours for the heart, red or green – is quite strange. I also seem to remember MW using light blue for the heart in DMQ which I found quite awkward – that was to facilitate red in the belly and alchemical mixing between. In that case the heart is simply used as an alchemising pot.
But the heart is the heart, it is our identity. A bit strange to use it like this. Is it not enough as it is ?
It is very interesting to play with these forces, but aren’t we playing because we don’t feel ourselves to be enough, we seek to add on and find the excitement outside. Can we not extend or express ourselves from the inside ?
Laozi sitting and dying into himself, perhaps he thinks he is enough.
He says of controlling life “I do not think it can be done”.???

This book below is the best introduction to indian meditative practices in the book form.
Swami Satyananda’s books are almost all miserably written and I also seriously would question his achievements, but there are still some interesting information. In this book below there are, beside some other things, simple system of energy practices (kriya yoga).
…seekers to play with whilst they wait for grace…
What is this?
Waiting that some discusting demons contact you?
… and bring the grace above?

Sorry, but it’s also not my intention to make any kind of un-Taoist postings.
Yoga
Red Root
Orange Sexuality
Yellow Solar Plexus
Green Heart
LightBlue Throat
Indigo 3rd Eye
Purple CrownThis book below is good for the traditional iconography, but the author & artist is not a good yogi.
This book below is also quite good for this kind of tradition which is demonic, but the author is not any kind of yogin and also not very good meditator.
This book below is very special; author has same publisher as Eric Steven Yudelove. Very special. (…here you will learn how to have erotic relationships with loving spirits…or very hostile and wrathful)
…what can we make of this ? Things are very confusing on Earth aren’t they…
One must study these kind of things also theoretically.
Patience means that although one might be in hurry one is also realistic with one’s expectations.

Although it’s a scholarly work David Gordon White has made with this book below quite nice presentation about some little know tantric/alchemical verbal teachuings.
