First of all i want to point out that i am not into new age and i am not a superstitious person. Spiritual use of crystals are normally associated with middle aged, depressed women with weight problems who belives in crystals because they are superstitious.
I am a very rational person, who belives in direct experience. Recently i bought a crystal (rose quartz). When i place it on different chakras it has very strong effect. I usually place it on my crown chakra, and it reflects the chi. It is very interesting. And i have also tried to put on my solar plexus when i went to sleep. But then i can’t fall alseep for several hours due to extreme chi movememt. I can also not fall asleep if i place it on my third eye when i go to sleep. It is very balancing to use this crystal and my overall chi recognition also increases!
It seems very unlikely that the old taoist masters failed to notice that crystals can be used a spiritual tool. Are there any taoist books about the use of crystals in spiritual practise? I am only interested in books based on direct experience, and not new age.

I was similarly surprised when I discovered the power of crystals. I haven’t found any book that I like on crystals, as every crystal has a different personality!

Have you ever read about someone before meeting them and then been constrained by that in your dealing with the? Same thing can happen with crystals.

http://evans-lambert.com/They have the best metaphysical crystals on the web, and they describe them perfectly. I have purchased many crystals from them. I then give them to my wife and have her describe the sensations she has from them, and she describes them very similarly to how they are described on the site (she does this with wine too…very talented!). So, independent verification.
Also, if you are looking for something to deal with a specific issue, they can put together a “bouquet” of crystals to work with that issue. I have done that with them and it was just wonderful.
So, I suggest collecting more crystals that you are drawn to, and then play with them as you have been doing.

Recently i did some more experiemts with my roze quartz crystal. One night i placed it on my throat chakra. There was a quite strong sensation, not comfortable so i had to remove it.
The next night i did the same thing again and i felt the strong sensation. This time i endured it, just too see what would happen. After maybe 10 minutes it stopped! It suddenly felt “normal” at my throat chakra, and it also felt more “clean” and very comfortable!
I guess the roze quartz desolved some kind of chi blockage! So it seems like crystals can be a very practical tool in spiritual work.
