Dao Mountain in the catskills has just had its summer 2007 contract cancelled (illegally, imho) due to sale of the property.
I’ve located a new -and better – site in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, at 4000 ft. atop the Blue Ridge Mountains.
more info on this shortly – nearest airport is Charlotte. should have all dates confirmed shortly. Most early retreats have the same dates, but changes to last four weeks of schedule are to be finalized.
Tao is about change…..

Sorry to hear about these hassles for you. But, I found the energy at the site in the Catskills really was lousy. My wife, who just stopped by a couple of times, totally agreed that there was a wierd energy there.
So, hopefully your new site, temporary or permanent, will be full of life and lively energies that fulfill the visions of you and your students (including me!).

oooo, 4000 ft. I like mountain tops.
Too bad they put you in a crunch at the last minute, but I wouldn’t put it past them, the way things were going there. Despite the issues with the folks in NY, the energy build up was quite intense at Dao Mtn. (in a good way), but hopefully things will be better in the new site although transportation will be more difficult to get there directly. I’ve been to DC, but have been wanting to check out the carolinas.
