Medical and Spiritual Qigong (Chi Kung)

Hey guys, I just recently stumbled onto Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson’s series on Daoist Magic. I know he is heralded with writing one of the best books on Ba Gua written in the Enlish language, but I am curious if anyone has read his series on Daoist Magic. It looks like they are self published, and they are quite expensive, but the content looks amazing. Can anyone who has read these books recommend them? I would like to make sure they are as good as they sound before investing 60-80 bucks. Thanks guys.

I know nothing of them; only a passing
acquaintance with his “Chinese Medical
Qigong Therapy” series. It is possible
that due to lack of responses others are
unfamiliar with them as well.
Therefore, if you do choose to buy them,
we expect your report 🙂

Empty Vessel Magazine published an excerpt a year or so agao….. In that exerpt, it was my opinion that he confused the distinction between alchemy and magic. They are NOT the same.
I know JAJ has been studying with Larry Short, an old student of Mantak’s fromthe 80’s, and now into “Magick”. So suspect the material is not purely Taoist…..but JAJ does tend to dig up interesting research.
