Great thread below on dragons, thanks all for adding so much texture to the dragon’s view.
I will just thorugh in one last thought before I head for the outer and inner planes enroute to UK:
The dragon is ultimaely the Earth Being itself, twisting and spiralling its way through the zodiac, with humanity riding its yin-yang pulsations and sexual gyrations of our collective kundalini awakening. Earth itself has gone through a period of being suppressed/killed, but that proved to be impossible due to the innate strength of the dragon and its desire to continue it journey through the heavens.
The war in heaven is also the war on earth, and the peace in heaven is also the peace on earth. The dragon embodies and embraces both by entwining itself around both. Dragonhood is in our very DNA…..whichmeans the zodiac is there as well. Can your inner dragon grasp the star seed it is spiralling around?
I was thinking about that this morning. A voice was saying women are the rose, the dragon, and the square. Then I remembered this from Mircea Eliades book Forge and the Crucible “Plato re-minds us that in the matter of conception it is the woman who imitates the earth and not the earth woman.”
