Hi people,
I have heard that the 8 extraordinary vessels are associated with the 8 trigrams.
I was wondering if anyone actually uses this correspondence in their practice. Has anyone found it helpfull to connect the channels to their corresponding trigrams in their meditations or chi kung?
thanks
The 8 gua correspond directly to the 8 extra meridian points which are paired. The following represents the Later Heaven Ba Gua. Bladder 62/Small Intestine 3 for the Yang Qiao/Du correspond to Dui and Kan. Spleen 4/Pericardium 6 for the ChongYin Wei correspond to Qian and Gen. Lung 7/Kidney 6 for the Ren/Yin Qiao correspond to Li and Kun. Gall Bladder 41/San Jiao 5 for the Dai/Yang Wei correspond to Zhen and Xun. Visualization through meditation inspires the movement of qi. As the expression goes, “the Yi (mind) moves the Qi”.
Thank you,
I will look into this.
there is a very powerful theory pertaining to all of this that atoms and dna are geometric by design.. for instance electron orbitals..
dna may very well be basing it’s coding system on octahedral pyramis which relate to proteins called histone octamers within the chromosomes..
if the Formulas are correct then DNA has produced an energy system regulates itself through an octahedral pyramidal index and branch pattern
