I’m working on sexual methods and will have to check into the taoist ones at some time I guess. Meanwhile, I have noticed something which raises a question I think people here could help with.
It is certainly possible to have an orgasm without ejaculating – but equally, it appears to be possible to ejaculate without having an orgasm. The semen just kind of crawls out, no spasm, very little sensation. Question: how much ‘energy’ is being lost here?
On the one hand *anything* lost is something lost. The body feels happier with plenty of sperm in it. On the other hand the intention to expel energy with great force, accompanied by complete loss of control, is absent when this happens. So question is, how much of the sexual energy is down to the physical substance, and how much to the energy of orgasm itself as it lines the body up?
Thanks, NN

However, I have had times when the energy was (mostly?) drawn out of the sperm and moved around the orbit - at this point when I ejaculated I felt much less of an energy loss. The only times I've managed this (twice) I had several non-ejaculatory orgasms first, during very prolonged sex sessions (3-5 hours) and acompanied with some heart-connection with my partner. Although she's not a cultivator, she explained that each time I had a non-ejaculatory orgasm she felt energy coursing into her (and I did the same) - so although the actual orgasms were quite subtle for me, it seems we both created a kind of nuclear fusion and unbound a huge amount of energy from my sperm and her own sexual essence - enough energy to fill both of us up - so when I finaly came it was not much of an energy loss. (whenever I tried to recreate it, it would not work - this only ever happened spontaneously and unexpectedly)

But would understand if did not notice particularly...! >>during very prolonged sex sessions (3-5 hours) and acompanied with some heart-connection with my partner.<< - which reminds me - also been meaning to ask what is supposed in Taoism to be the energetic component/value of a *female* orgasm... I suppose I really will just have to wait until I can get some of Michael's stuff... >>never ejaculated without orgasming…<< Well it *does* happen... in fact apparently spontaneously so in some people, which has led to doctors labelling it a 'disorder'! I don't know yet exactly what is the mechanism for suppressing ejaculation in Taoist stuff as taught here, but was told hard PC squeezes by someone who studied Chia's book? Anyhow what I am doing just now is trying to disentangle the two mechanisms of orgasm and ejaculation, so this as a side-effect is no surprise. best NN PS Freeform have you given up on the loose-end tying you promised?
February 22, 2006 at 2:07 pm #10749FajinParticipantHi Nonnth,
Don’t contract the PC muscles. That stimulates premature ejaculation. PC musclular contraction triggers the sympathetic nervous response to ejaculate but the muscles around the tailbone and sacrum trigger the parasympathetic response to redirect the energy up the spine! There should’nt be any kind of force in the PC area including the huiyin (perineum), especially no finger force techniques as in Chia’s book.
Go to actionlove.com if you are interested in having orgasms without ejaculation. I haven’t tried Winn’s methods yet as I am still new to them, but on Dr. Lin’s website he presents his sexual qigong breathing and anal breathing for ejaculatory control which is an amazing technique. He’s bridged the gap between Eastern Taoist sexuality and Western science. I highly recommend you check his site out, you can learn it all there for free. Also, check this site out to (http://www.precisiondocs.com/~altaoism/) and click “Healing Love), it provides you some good practices and basics to get you started.
Best of Luck, Fajin

February 22, 2006 at 4:27 pm #10753FajinParticipantSorry for the misunderstanding Nnonnth. Anyway my answer might of helped others. Back to your question, it is possible to have male orgasm without ejaculation. Here’s some info from Dr. Lin’s site on the subject. He can answer better than I can.
“Male ejaculation without orgasm is called semen leakage. Both sexes can experience ejaculation without orgasm when the resting bioelectric potential (qi) in the parasympathetic nerves of S2-S4 is too low to control the emission ducts/valves. The parasympathetic bioelectric level is a measure of the life force in the body.
Ejaculation can result from emission (leakage) of semen into the urethral tract from the seminal vesicles (the storage of seminal fluids). When the prostate’s parasympathetic nerves become too weak to keep the ejaculation valve tightened during sexual excitement (visual/auditory/physical) or wet dream, the brain can dispatch weak bioelectric pulses to the prostate via the sympathetic nerves in the spinal cords L1/L2 to trigger emission.
When the bioelectric potential of parasympathetic nerves in S2-S4 is high, it requires a full trigger with powerful pulses from the sympathetic circuits of T10-L2. The sympathetic nerves send a powerful pulse to turn on the ejaculation valve while the common sensory circuits Pelvic Splanchnic Nerves and the Pudendal Nerves signal the S2-S4 parasympathetic nerves to turn it off (contract). Here, the on-off pulses results in the contraction of the contractile fibers in the pelvic cavity, from the prostate (the female Epicenter between the cervix and bladder), which is termed as Orgasm. The period of the on-off signals is about 0.8 seconds. The adjacent muscles of the prostate, which are under the influence of the sympathetic circuits of T10-L2 and the parasympathetic circuits of S2-S4, will experience the synchronous on-off contraction of 0.8 seconds. The contracting area is the entire pelvic cavity, but the affecting area due to the contracting wave radiation (orgasmic surges of shocks) is the entire body – a full body orgasm!
Thus, to have a orgasm ejaculation, the parasympathetic circuits of S2-S4 must provide a sufficient level of acting bioelectric potential (pulses) for contraction of the muscles adjacent to the prostate.”I hope this helps.
Best of luck on your magick journey! Fajin

I was looking at the results but this addresses the cause. I'll check more of this site out - thanks. >>Best of luck on your magick journey!<< Likewise dude. NN
