It has become fashionable to criticize Christianity in many ways, but people have no idea whatsoever they are talking about.
The founding message of Christianity is simply this :
Feel … Your … Pain
Hence the Crucifix.
A man suffering.
A man is in pain.
You are that man.
You are in pain.
Alchemically your attention to your suffering grows the energy of the soul inside you.
Affirming meets Denying to create the Neutralising Force.
It creates the 3rd force. Or Yuan Chi.
This is why Gurdjieff (Western Alchemy Master) said that Conscious Suffering was the foundation.
Christianity is a low-level universal alchemy that anyone can understand instinctively.
Why is it Genius ?
It is Genius because mankind is a bloothirsty rogue murdering and raping through the ages and don’t think it’s not in you. Every society is 3 meals short of butchery.
This basic practice of acknowledging your pain … if you could regulate a society with this one idea, it would be enough. It would create huge growth among the consciousness of men with its basic alchemy.
And it is the limit of what is capable of them, in the past ages at least.
Modern science that we experience has emerged from a society regulated by the one image of the crucifix for 2000 years.
And people criticize it, they know nothing.
Unfortunately our society seems to have embodied the avoidance of pain since the end of WW2, they have become fearful of facing the simple truth of life, escaping it with all manner of entertainment (masturbation) and stupidity, and now mankind descends as they have ceased down The Work.December 12, 2016 at 5:38 am #47084
33:1.1 (366.2) Our Creator Son is the personification of the 611,121st original concept of infinite identity of simultaneous origin in the Universal Father and the Eternal Son. The Michael of Nebadon is the only-begotten Son personalizing this 611,121st universal concept of divinity and infinity. His headquarters is in the threefold mansion of light on Salvington. And this dwelling is so ordered because Michael has experienced the living of all three phases of intelligent creature existence: spiritual, morontial, and material. Because of the name associated with his seventh and final bestowal on Urantia, he is sometimes spoken of as Christ Michael.
-THE URANTIA BOOK
If one is believer type and is interested
about Jesus myths it may be worth quickly
check the Urantia Book.
Gurdjieff’s own dedication towards what he
calls Conscious Suffering may be questioned,
because it’s well known that he was both
heavy drinker and smoker and when older also gluttonous.
Sorry for my broken English.

Logos (UK /ˈloʊɡɒs, ˈlɒɡɒs/, US /ˈloʊɡoʊs/; Greek: λόγος, from λέγω lego “I say”) is an important term in western philosophy, psychology, rhetoric, and religion. It is a Greek word meaning “ground”, “plea”, “opinion”, “expectation”, “word”, “speech”, “account”, “reason”, “discourse”, but it became a technical term in philosophy beginning with Heraclitus (c. 535475 BCE), who used the term for a principle of order and knowledge. Logos is the logic behind an argument. Logos tries to persuade an audience using logical arguments and supportive evidence. Logos is a persuasive technique often used in writing and rhetoric.

An Aztec religious observance was celebrated via boys hunting small animals such as snakes, lizards, frogs and even dragonfly larvae in the swamps to give them to the elders who served as the guardians of the fire deity. As a reward for these offerings, the priest would give them food. At these occasions the god was demonstrated as young with turquoise and quetzal feathers for ceremonial purposes. Later during the month he appeared as aging and tired, covered with the colours of glow; gold, black and red. Perhaps this has led to the confusion of the deity being two separate ones, as being displayed as such, or vice versa.
The Codex Laud, or Laudianus, (catalogued as MS. Laud Misc. 678, Bodleian Library in Oxford) is an important sixteenth-century manuscript associated with William Laud, an English archbishop who was the former owner of this ancient Mexican codex. It is from the Borgia Group, and is a pictorial manuscript consisting of 24 leaves (48 pages) from Central Mexico, dating from before the Spanish takeover. It is evidently incomplete (part of it is lost).
