I’ve been practicing Fusion 1 for about 2 years, Fusion 2 for about 12 months, and Fusion 3 for about 2 months.
For the last six months I have been finding Fusion 1 tougher and tougher.
It started getting tougher in December 2013.
I was charging away in November, my pearl was so damn bright and powerful I’d open my eyes on occasion to make sure it was not lighting up the room! 🙂
I had great flows of energy streaming from the organs when fusing energies, and the MCO cycles were utter bliss…
Then, when December came along I was hit with such huge fatigue I found it very difficult to practice. I found it hard to sit up during practice.
So I started doing the practice laying down, which was ok at first, but my energy got too settled, so I came back to the sitting posture (half lotus).
Since then I’ve readopted a stool sitting practice for the Fusions.
Fusion 2 is very strong, and Fusion 3 is powering along.
But when I do Fusion 1, i’m not falling asleep, but find it very tough to produce the same glowing powerful pearl.
My inner smile is not nearly as powerful as it was either.
Yet, the feelings in Fusion 2&3 are very strong.
(this is all mantak chia’s versions of the work)
Do people find that Fusion 1 loses its potency over time as we work our way up through the spiral of practices – through the fusions up to K&L?
Or has my practice of Fusion 1 dipped into a dormancy due to my laying down practice.
I’ve also been experiencing a lot of flatulence in the Fusion 1 practice at various stages – like when collecting at the water collection point (blue sphere) – when the energy collects. Perhaps I’m leaking too much energy?
I’m happy with the progression I’m making, but wondering why Fusion 1 has lost its power. The power to fuse and recycle negative emotions seemed to have waned with it to a fair degree.
I added more rooting practice and pascking process breathing (Iron Shirt 1) which helped nicely for a while…

Peace, Jox 🙂

Horus here.
Maybe you’re right – I’ll take that approach and see how I go.

In the begining I also experienced fatigue … 😉
After some time I managed trough … but sometimes I still get it … and then I usually need some more sleep … 🙂
It would be fine to hear opinions end experiences from others … 🙂

I have had issues with fatigue in the beginning – and occasionally. Doing my meditation starting from 5am in the dead of winter increases fatigue too.
But it’s like my organs are sleeping…
When I took the above mentioned more relaxed/let it go approach this morning – it was minimally better.
I slowed it right down aswell and allowed the whole meditation to focus on inner smile and the first few formulas of fusion 1.
It’s like my organ qi is dead “asleep”. When I do the smile I have to smile for a long and focused period to get the build up of the virtues.
I never fall asleep anymore – but my body seems to be?
July 2, 2014 at 8:18 am #42589sourcexcParticipantThe other thing would be just fine to do. I also do so, to switch to basic, inner smile, 6 sounds, microcosmic, no need to stick to fusions all the time … 🙂
Peace, Jox 🙂

I have impression that with some practices this really happens but not necessarily with all.
In my opinion one shouldn’t in these conditions stay practicing only at certain level with these energy formulas, but to get as soon as possible overview of the whole system.
Best would be to have ‘Basic Practices of the Universal Healing Tao: An Illustrated Guide to Levels 1 through 6’ book and, though maybe not immediately able to practice
all, becoming familiar with various type of practices at the level of understanding. So it’s suitable book to be used as a kind of catechism.
ZHAO BICHEN’s book deal with this kind of problem very well although of course the formula system is totally different and the translation is totally outdated and lacking proper commentary.
