I’ve been reading up on the huge number and kinds of bacteria in our gut. Western medical researchers are looking into the gut microbiome’s role in health and disease, mental as well as physical well-being.
I’ve written a series of articles, available through links at http://bodyearthsky.wordpress.com/essays/
In the sixth installment, “Your Belly, Your Primordial Planet,” I relay Michael Winn’s take on the subject.
What I wonder is:
How do the energetic fields of all the bacteria in your gut interact with your lower tan tien?
Likewise, how does your gut microbiomes energy field interact with your Large Intestine and Small Intestine meridians?
How does your Triple Warmer meridian figure in your gut-brain communication?
I would guess that the probiotic/healthy bacteria that
support the gut would put off harmonious/compatible
energy fields, and the pathogenic ones would put off
incompatible ones. I have no science to back this up,
but I think consistency between western medicine and
Chinese internal medicine would demand it.
As to your question about Triple Warmer meridian
and gut brain, I’d look into the work of Senior
Healing Tao instructor Judith Poole. A lot of her
work in Energy Medicine is tied in with the Triple
Warmer meridian. In that context, Triple Warmer
meridian often acts as a “change-inhibitor” and
“sentinel security system”.
