I’d be interested to hear any ones’ opinion of the hua hu ching.
Is it considered on par with the dao de jing? Or is’nt there enough consensus as to it’s authenticity?
Interesting that you bring this up. I have the same question and interest, myself. I just ordered the book from the library. There seems to be some significant amount of documentaiton on it and the excerpts I’ve read do sound like Lao Tzu. But I can’t say for sure. Maybe others have some info on it. -Alexander
The nei yeh is also an interesting text with a lot of similarity to the dao de jing, said to be written earlier and focusing more on practical cultivation. A good translation is “Original Dao” by Harold Roth.
