I am off to Istanbul

My dear partner is dragging his 4 women to Istanbul to bath in this masculine culture and religion. Although he is not a muslim, we often joke he is born in the wrong place and would fit perfectly in a muslim society. Young muslims in our neighbourhood call him ‘boss’… just figure! He surely has a way of handling those guys. Respect and honor is the game!
I am proud of him, joggling between these two worlds because living with me brings a very very different dynamic in his ideas and world view. But he is trying, wondering, listening…
Wonderful man!
So he and ‘his women’ will disappear in the streets of Istanbul for a week.

We are taking off saturday, so I will be leaving this forum for awhile, or maybe I find a way reading some of it.
