I’m confused

Prenatal Qi is the Qi you got from your parents, the ancestral influence on you. Post-natal Qi is the quality and quantity of Qi you get from lifestyle. This can replenish/maintain the pre-natal level.

Original Qi, from my view point, is the Qi from other areas, like the stars, planets, environment, etc. we get from cultivation. It differs from post-natal in the sense it not from food, drink and regular exercise.

The quality of this Qi is non-polar or limited polarity. It can take any form, like a stem cell. In theory, it would be like Wu Ji, it can become anything.

In there view, they seek to connect to the other realm to support “growth” in this realm. This idea is part of indigenous Chinese culture, where there was ancestor worship and medicine. A goal was to communicate with the ancestors and appease the ancestors, which then will create auspicious harvests, fertility and longevity. So in the view here, they want to connect to immortals, beings, planets and stars, instead of ancestors, and connect to Qi, instead of the Gods we find in Taoism that follows this way.
