Most do not think of india when it comes to martial arts but they have a long history and have influenced most major forms of martial arts. What cultures influenced them is debatable, and multiple, but there contribution is definitly important to the martial art community. I found these videos and artical to be very interesting.

interesting, i think there were also martial arts systems in ancient Egypt and that other really old area (lol) in the middle east that starts with an “S”, you know, by those rivers… I recognized the narrator’s voice in that video, it’s part of a series of a bunch of different martial arts. here’s a link to the one about several Chinese internal martial arts, it’s pretty good…
