I have a question about Iron Shirt 3. I have learned some of it bone breathing for instance from my Eric Yudelove practise, from book. But I have also bought Mantak Chias book about iron shirt 3. First comes my practise at the moment and then the quesion related to iron shirt 3.
My practise for the moment
Working days on bus and reailway and subway:
Inner smile, microcosmic orbit, abdomina breathing about 20 minutes
Four square breathing and uniting testicles and brain meditation 20 minutes
Testickle breathing, sitting bone breathing whole sckeleton, focus on the tan-tien
Abdominal breathing or testickle breathing about 20 minutes perhaps also some bone breathing in sitting position
Fusion of the five elements with pearl in the mco
If time focus on tan-tien and stilling the mind
(But falls to sleep during the home going trip often)
Days at home
10.30-11 am Meditation and 8 brocades and iron shirt stances
3-4 pm Testickle breathing, massaging testickles and penis and scrotal compression, Standing three and bone breathing
6-9 The rest of my practise to come up to two hours that day:
Fusion of the five and pearl in mco, Or inner smile or 8 brocades or six healing sounds or a mix of them.
Days at home if I´m tiered I do the breathing at points that is an introduction to tao-yin and the lotus flower meditation, and usually often also falls to sleep for awhile.
It´s about this but with some variatons depending on how I feel.
My question is:
When reading about iron shirt 3, there is some remarks about that the bone breathing is more eficiently and stronger if first working up some sexual energy! But in M Chia´s book it seems that the sexual practises sometimes are put after the bone breathing and sometimes before. Haven´t read the book with 100 % focus jet though.
What do you think about this?
My logic says it´s better to do the sexual practise before the bone breathing, beacase then you have work up some jing that will the breathing. But if doing the sexual practises after the bone breathing perhaps the jing that you work with still will go to the bone if they are worked with beforehand.
I started the practise like this:
First testikle breathing, then iron shirt standing three with bone breathing and last the massage of penis and testickles.
But then I thougth that the testikle breathing doesn´t realy work up enough sexual energy, so I changed the order to: Testikle brreathing and mco, testicle and penis massage and then iron shirt standing three with bone breathing. When doing like this I feel much more energy in the bones!
What do you think, which order is to prefer? Or does the order mattar at all? Or is it best to just feel what works for me myself? (which always seems to be the anser! 🙂 )

The problem with books is that they have to be written
with everyone in mind, including those that have never
done any practices at all before. This is why in almost
all of M. Chia’s books, he has a first chapter on the micro.
When learning, bone breathing and Iron Shirt 3 techniques
are usually taught *without* the sexual energy first.
The reason for this is that sexual energy amplifies everything,
and if your channels, bones, etc. are not clear, then you
can end up amplifying stuck toxic patterns. It’s better to
clear that stuff out first to avoid negative side-effects.
Even after finally learning sexual practices, usually doing
the bone breathing first to clear out recent accumulated stuff
is somewhat beneficial.
In your case, however, you’ve been doing practices for quite
some time . . . lots of standing practice, bone breathing,
energy circulation (i.e. micro), as well as the sexual practices.
So I’d say in your case that it is pretty likely that your
channels are fairly clear now . . .
In any event, I don’t think it really matters as much
in your case, as to what feels good to you in the moment.
Some days you may feel like you want to clear things out
first before moving sexual energy; yet, on other days, you
may feel like you want to get supercharged from sexual energy
before doing your other practices. Either way, in your case,
I think either is a perfectly reasonable approach,
and so in your case, it comes down to what you said earlier:
>>>Or is it best to just feel what works for me myself?
>>>(which always seems to be the anser! 🙂 )
Use your intuition to guide you as to what you wish to do on
a particular day, without forcing yourself to be stuck in a
rigid pattern that your head brain has decided is best for you.
Lifeforce likes to flow and hates rigidity . . .
Smiles to you and glad to hear about your practice,
