Kind greetings to You All!
Since this is my first post, I will state for the record that I’m a male in my early 50’s. As a very new student of Master Chia’s System, (and training under one of his certified instructors,) I would like to ask how sexual chi kung is taught to groups?
To be very honest about it, while I would much like to master the Healing Tao System, I am experiencing some hesitation toward attending group training sessions that deal with sexual chi kung practices; for fear that I might be asked to expose myself to the class, or even worse, be asked to allow them to handle my genitals, or to handle theirs.
Can anyone tell if that kind of thing actually happens, in sexual chi kung group training sessions? How are those training sessions conducted?
Thank you in advance! ~ YHOctober 13, 2013 at 1:35 pm #41307
If you are talking about any of the workshops that Master Chia himself offers, then the answer is no. There is no disrobing. Everything is done fully clothed. Any explanations are verbal, backed up with diagrams that Master Chia has on a slideshow presentation and/or props. Any qigong that is done, is done fully clothed, no contact.
As to courses by other instructors:
In the basic Healing Love course, again everything is done fully clothed. At one point, the women separate out for a couple hour-long “special sessions” where they are led in instruction in the Jade Egg practice (but this is done discreetly), while the men simply have an extended verbal discussion (fully clothed).
At some point, if you are taking an advanced Iron Shirt 3 class (such as Walter Kellenberger’s Men’s Health course), sometimes the instructor will provide the option for male students to learn how to do the “qi weight lifting” practice in an optional special session. But such optional sessions are not required, if they are done they are done discreetly, and there is no sexual contact. But here in the US, in any case, this is not part of the basic Healing Love course. Any Healing Love course here in the US, you can assume that as a man you will always be fully clothed and there is no physical contact of any kind.
On that latter note, any kind of sexual contact between an instructor and a student, or something requested between students, is strictly forbidden in the Healing Tao’s Code of Ethics. Having the classroom being a safe learning environment where the students feel completely comfortable and at ease is something we take very seriously.
So no worries. We don’t do such things in the Healing Tao courses.

Thanks for your response, Steven. I greatly appreciate it! Perhaps it may help if I explain, in part, why I asked the question. There are a few videos on You Tube, (as you must know,) of Master Chia’s workshops; three of which I have posted links for, immediately below:
1. The Psoas Gland Massage
2. Blood Supply to the Sexual Organs
3. Technical Massage Practice All Men
These are co-ed sessions, obviously, with both men and women present. In each case, the men are stripped down to the underwear; except in one case, the man isn’t even wearing underwear, but some kind of disposable paper covering. While the penis isn’t technically exposed, at least in these videos, the underwear hardly leaves anything to the imagination.
In every case their testicles are exposed to the class; and in one case completely exposed, and in the hands of the women giving the massage. Master Chia touches the genitals several times.
Can you please explain to me in which part of the Healing Tao System these workshops are given, and if the class students will all participate in like manner, practicing these techniques on each other?
Thank you! ~ YHOctober 13, 2013 at 9:02 pm #41311
OK, but this is not Iron Shirt or Healing Love, which is what I thought you were asking about.
The videos that you have linked here relate to a special course of Master Chia’s called Karzai Nei Tsang. The whole purpose of this course is to teach medical genital detox massage. Most of the people in the class are already instructors in the Healing Tao who are certified in Chi Nei Tsang (abdominal detox massage), so it is sort of not a general population class in any way, and the people in this class are taking it specifically to learn these techniques. Consequently, everyone who takes this course knows what they are getting into, and knows that this is what is involved. It is certainly not a class for random folks. To my knowledge, this is only offered at Tao Garden by Master Chia, and it is specifically advertised as “Karzai Nei Tsang: Therapeutic Genital Massage”. In some ways, it is kind of unfortunate that these videos have become available on the internet, because it leaves the wrong impression as to the main Healing Tao material.
If you are taking a Healing Love course (i.e. Tao of Sex), or an Iron Shirt course, or really any course except this one, it is as I described. I did not mention the content of the Karsai Nei Tsang course in my prior post, because this is a course that very very very few people will ever take. To take it, you really need a lot of background and be flying to Thailand specifically for this.

After gymnasium I dated some time girl from an other European country who was exchange student in Finland.
When she went back to work in her country next summer she took few HT courses and vividly described what had happened.
She was not herself any way easily becoming abashed, but this HT instructor had for example during weekend course had quite salacious style to instruct mixed gender group to do breast and testicle massage and told also openly about her sexual adventuring and so on, which seemingly very easily brings not only giggle, but for example here was cases were participant didn’t anymore come back next day.
One was for example around twenty years old body builder macho type of guy who had been sitting next to her and had been so irritated and embarrassed that it was his behavior which became more disturbing to her.
Quite recently also again this Romanian group has received media attention because they seemingly want to have swimming suit pictures of persons who would like to participate to their retreats.
Also their instructors have quite uninhibited way of doing workshops.
Also even mild version of traditional Tantric initiations seems to be unacceptable.
For already keeping reputation it seems to be important at various levels to be aware what one is doing.

It is always dangerous to hear things second- and third-hand. You never know exactly what was true, and what was embellishment. I.E. Was testicle/breast massage simply discussed, done but done with the clothes on, or was it done where people exposed their genitals and breasts?
The other issue is that, in any venue, whether it is a priest, a teacher, a counselor, a spiritual mentor, etc. , there is always some small subset of people doing sexually inappropriate (i.e. unethical) things. But this does not mean this is indicative of the whole group. Like any profession, there are wackos.
In general, HT instructor teaching is as I described.

What I narrated seemingly have been true, but I don’t think that anything too serious have been happening.
It’s only that, when you have group of people who don’t know each other, belong to quite different age groups and both female and male are present, there are possibilities to go too far. Even when the clothes are still on.
Intructor have been half commanding participants to do various things (…and now men should massage their testicles and women should massage their breast…) and this simply is too much for some although they should have known that about such things the course was about.
Anyway this Bivolaru and his students seemingly are fully in that direction.
Ps. Sorry for my broken English.
