I think that whilst personal cultivation is very helpful in allowing one to work with their own “issues”, it is foolhardy to presume to know the inner workings of anyone else.

Just a few observations . . .
1. YES, Alexander’s comments were valuable.
I appreciate different points of view, and sincerely do have an open mind!
It’s never bad to see things from another angle.2. YES, Alexander was being somewhat arrogant in his posts.
There are plenty of times when I’m in arrogant mood too, so I can overlook it and
it didn’t upset me any–especially since I don’t think any harm was meant. Right?3. YES, Nnonnth’s posts and Emelgee’s posts were also valuable.
They formed a good complement to Alexander’s posts.
Also, calling it “protecting” or whatever, it’s never bad when someone makes an
effort to be nice. I appreciate that also.In summary, everyone was effectively correct, so there is no argument. Everyone was right. No negative feelings on my part. No worries; relax; and smile with a light heart 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
A life philosophy comes to mind at this point:
“Don’t take life too seriously; you’ll never get out alive.” 🙂With love to you all,

please see the following attached link:For my part, nothing I said in my “piffle post” was intended to be taken too very seriously or too very personally. As I recall I even said that AA had many words of wisdom in his post – other than my taking issue with the concept of a character flaw.
But, I cannot control another person’s emotional/intellectual reaction nor will I take responsibility for their reaction or allow another person to attempt to psycho-analyse my whole personality on the basis of a few words and one whole pile of complete misunderstanding.
And that is all I have to say about that 🙂

Or to put it another way, if Alexander is allowed to read Intelligence’s posts and respond negatively, why am I not allowed to do the same?

Nnonnth, no one is keeping you from reading anything here. You’re overreacting.
And from my viewpoint of my own writings, I am responding positively to Intelligence’s posts. It seems to me that some of us here are concluding that standing for truth is a negative thing when there is disagreement involved and heat is applied to the conversation.
I am willing to listen to criticisms or observations made about the tone of my writing and the energy that is felt from it, or the content of the thoughts. But I will not sit still, unresponsive, when you or anyone else, tries to “write over” what I have said in an effort to neutralize the effect of it. Disagree if you like. But be aware that at a certain point emotions take over if one is not careful and the space gets too small and then “the town ain’t big enough for the both of us.”

AA – you conveniently forget in most of your posts that your truth is simply that, “yours”. You are entitled to your opinion, as is everyone else on this board. Further, in my view, it is arrogance of the highest level to believe your view represents some level of consciousness that other people have yet to achieve (I am referring to your discourse with Chris re science as well as an aspect of your posting in general).
