She also claims in her version it is ET’s that are behind it all.
Since we don’t have a copy of her manuscript, we have no idea
if the movies are a direct rip-off or not. At the same time,
virtually nothing new in Hollywood is completely original–just a
recycling of old ideas already established, so any movie made
is likely to exhibit similarities to some already published writings.
Since this woman is getting ready to publish her original manuscript,
this could also be a publicity stunt to get people to buy her book.
I don’t understand why she is claiming they copied her but she has not published her book yet??? How can they copy something that is not published?
She says she sent them a copy responding to a add requesting they placed looking for comic book ideas.
I think what “supposedly” happened was that she wrote the
manuscript for her book years ago, and submitted it to the studios
claiming a personal copyright. The studios weren’t “interested”
in her manuscript. Then she felt that the subsequent movies
“Terminator” and “The Matrix” were some rip-offs of some ideas
in her previously submitted manuscript. Then she apparently
began a series of lawsuits/appeals. The book “to be published”
is supposedly her previous manuscript that she had personally
copyrighted and submitted to the studios, under the guise that
she’s now revealing to the public what the original source was.
Of course the problem is, is that this is all sort of her word,
and no real way of knowing that it is not just a publicity stunt
to sell her book.
