AdelJanuary 19, 2012 at 6:03 pm #38713adelParticipantI have been doing 4-6 hours
of practice every day since
I have been off of work. A
kind of mini reatreat. It
has been great, I have a lot
of time alone and it gives
me a chance to get further
into my core than I have ever
been able to before. Now I need to rework a practice
schedule. When I got home from
the interview I immediately had
the need to do priomordial.
I felt the presence of beings
standing behind me. They weren’t
saying or doing anything, I just
felt their smiles. It was a physical
feeling, I could feel the heat of
their smiles in my back.Cheers,

AdelJanuary 19, 2012 at 9:42 pm #38721StevenModeratorWow! 4-6 hours of practice per day?
Not counting the hours spent listening to audios
or watching qigong videos, that’s how much I was
doing during my hermit retreat!
That’s great! In any case, it is further demonstration of
the huge shifts that are possible with intensive
practice. As is true every year, and perhaps
even more so this year since I took my practice
to another level, I had huge shifts take place
as a result of my intensive practice period
during my hermit retreat. The great experiences
that you have been having recently is further
confirmation of what is possible when one becomes
particularly devoted to doing practice!Smiles and qi,

exhausted me at first but now I feel
a deep strength coming from my bones.
I used to have such a hard time standing
(I am doing the Three Treasure
Standing Meditation by Robert Peng)and I
started by setting a timer at 3 minutes.
I’ve worked up to 30 minutes and just
when I start to feel really good the
timer goes off….my knees used to hurt
but now my body automatically adjusts itself
to facilitate the flow of chi and my knees
have really opened up. The actual shape of my
legs have changed. I used to be knock-kneed.I’m also doing at least an hour of deep earth
pulsing. Then I work with fusion. I do deep
healing and primordial and I’ve started a little
of the healing love along with some of the white
tigress practices. The grounding practices make up more than half of
my practice and have helped build up a lot of trust
between my inner heart and the shen. Some deep fundamental
changes have occured that I am unable to grasp
intellectually but I FEEL the changes.Next step is to figure out how to keep my practices
deep while working. I think it is important to have
a balance between these “retreats” and work (the
hermit in the mtn vs. in the city). Reading your winter
hermit reports inspired me to really take the time
that I had between work for practice. How great to be a teacher with summer and winter
vacations!!!!
Best to you,
