Hello
Today on my buss practise home from work I just felt to do the macro cosmic orbit with qi and I never did create the pearl and move it around.
So my question is how to relate to this? Or if you know a more advanced practise with more energy in it, how do you relate to the more easier practises. Do you stop doing them or do they by themselves have another quality for theire own right.
What I did feel was doing the macrocosmic orbit was just simple and natural and did give me more ballance, I think.
From what I have read on the forum you do continue with the lower level practises as you continue.
But anyway any comments on this. It was just a question arised during my practise. I know from other practises that it sometimes is realy nice to do practises that I am wery familjar with, especially if I am a bit tiered. It is like falling back on a sort of foundation.
Any comments from this anybody?

It seems in Taoist meditation, and also Chinese martial arts, you continue to reinforce your foundation, it’s what the rest is based upon.
You can also go deeper into the fundamentals and find new ways of exploring them and innovating, and continuing to practice the fundamentals makes the other practices easier and deeper too.
Mantak Chia recently sent out an email on his mailing list about the microcosmic orbit and how keeping it open and flowing, and practicing the orbit, helps your life to flow harmoniously with the further macro and microcosmic orbits of the universe, which is of course a good reason to practice it too.
When you keep practicing the fundamentals, you continue to balance yourself on a fundamental level, and you can also experience yourself deeper on that level.
