Hello All:
Was Nei Gong designed to be used as therapy or to treat psychological conditions?

Understanding one’s true nature and integrating
one’s self into unified entity are all stepping
stones toward the purported goal of becoming
a Taoist immortal.Or the purpose is as simple as this 40 second video:
May 2, 2009 at 2:05 pm #31309baguaParticipantIt seems in the long history of Nei Gong teachers were very selective in who they taught and what they taught. In the Healing Tao it is clear, but most ignore the guidance of mastering one level before moving on, mastery is not just learning a technique, the mechanics, but the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of it. The teachers would have people send months or years on basics, before ever moving on, this is good advice. So one would never move to Kan and Li unless they were at a certain maturity.
Can you tell me what a Taoist Immortal is? Do you know any and if yes can you tell us who it or they are? Or is it based on books and theories and a kinda fantasy?
Thanks,

Practice open-minded listening to all that you encounter.
Practice humbling yourself and learn to drop ALL judgements.S

May 2, 2009 at 3:39 pm #31317StevenModeratorI’ll make a comment on your first statement first.
>>>By the Way, Therapy implies someone is treating you,
>>>the other can imply you are self treating.A person can be helped only if they truly in their core
actually want the help that they are seeking. Thus
these things are one in the same; they only appear different.S

May 2, 2009 at 4:33 pm #31321wendyParticipantBagua, I talked about my immortal encounter before on this forum and I know nobody believes it but I have peace with that because it took me many years myself to even consider the fact that IT is possible and that they do exist.
So the only thing to do is to keep talking about it gently and patiently when asked (although this is a public question to all) and for the rest it is just an experience as so many other experiences. After the shock that took a couple of days, the digesting took 9 months and the integration took several years, it is just an experience that gave me insight in the multi-dimension of this universe. Breaking open the small minded thoughts I had of the world and its appearance.
This is from my personal experience with it:
The immortal moves through dimensions – space/time, depending on its skills (level of accomplishment).
Its touch can be as physical as a human touch does and it can create mass if it needs to, having ‘weight’ in the physical dimension.
In my case it had the shape of a male, as I needed some serious integration of true yang energy.
It entered my energy body AND my physical body, where it created an intense ‘energy’ problem. I was a real Taoist novice at that time and my system was not expanded enough to take in that much energy.
So it created an intense ‘shock’ that took me years to recover from. I even stopped with the practices because my system had an overload of ‘information’ that I could not handle. The way to attract one you might want to know 😉
Be as open as a child, humble as butterfly and fearless as a tiger…
good luck!May 2, 2009 at 4:42 pm #31323baguaParticipantHi Wendy:
Just out of curiosity, did this being say “hi Wendy, I am a Taoist Immortal?
thanks,
baguaMay 2, 2009 at 4:52 pm #31325wendyParticipantOh I forgot to mention that I DID digested it and did started the practices again during recovery, a part wanted to rush through all the practices, which I did and another part in me moved very very slow. After 17 years I am still working on my basics. Its like I wanted to taste the whole scale from bottom to top and after banging against the walls, taking in as much energy I could handle and was offered.
With a full stomach I went back to my lair to digest and figure out how to move with it all but now creating a stable deep ground to hold space for it all…. so slowly, so slowly but very aware of its necessity.
So rushing through the practices can be benefical yet I would never recommend it to anyone, but I would never stop anyone from doing it. Ones path is unknown for the normal eye, for it might need things that are crazy in the eyes of others… so never judge and always be careful because the beggar might turn out the one who carries some unexpected wisdom.
May 2, 2009 at 5:02 pm #31327baguaParticipantMy experience is our Destiny, our prenatal destiny is known, our postnatal expressions and conflicts are not known, many variations can occur. So we must clear away the postnatal stresses and blockages to allow our destiny to unfold and this is the same process for us all, IMHO.

May 2, 2009 at 5:06 pm #31329wendyParticipantActually it did gave its name as used in his ‘human life’
The tricky part was that he did not say he was an Taoist Immortal, so it took me a very very very long time to even CONSIDER that option.
My first option was that I was crazy, that my psychological condition had created a being that had shape and form.
As a little duckling I could not understand nor believe that anything other than my own crazy imagination had somehow manifested a ‘ghost’, this has been the most hardest and most difficult part of all.
On top my mentor at that time, did not support my experience and told me this was just a low astral manifestation that was feasting on me.
I was torn between the feeling that he was jealous of my experience and my trust in him, that he probably was right, that it was a low astral ghost.
Believing the unbelievable … I could not … for a long time, I mean YEARS!
This has been my biggest challenge and my deepest process of all so far.
Yet it was the ground work for what came after that. Without this I would not, never ever been able to digest what came several years later.May 2, 2009 at 5:08 pm #31331wendyParticipantThat is why I said: ‘the normal eye’ 🙂

it when I do a forum search. I either missed it,
or was not on the forum at the time when you originally

had your first experience? Events such as you describe
often foreshadow future experiences . . .S
