Just read it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Made me feel like a kid again 🙂
I totally “fell” for it.
At the beginning I was spellbound, marveling at the possibility of this being a true story. But as I progressed, I realized that this must just be fictional. The author is just trying to “get across a certain point”. I said to myself, “okay…this can’t be a true story – this must be ‘made up'” – aka “illusion”. Haha.
I doubted the reality of it as the story itself claimed that it had entered an “illusory” realm. Holmes walked me straight into the realms of imagination and then reminded me that I hadn’t gone anywhere.
Great read; thanks.

My impression is the most basic truth of 911 – the truth of government complicity and the subsequent cover up – is hidden in plain sight. It remains hidden because the watchdog institutions of our society are compromised and have chosen to look the other way. This points to a really stunning state of affairs where so many of our major institutions – military, civil air, Congress, White house, media, intelligence – are involved to some degree in perpetrating a massive deception of the American people.
At the time I was looking into these things, I was a big fan of Noam Chomsky, his brilliant intellect, and trenchant critique of American media and politics. I couldn’t wait to see what his views were on 911. What I discovered is that, as soon as the topic of 911 came up, Chomsky exhibited a strange tendency to lapse into various absurdities, non-sequiturs, and ad hominem arguments.
This phenomenon is acknowledged in the 911 truther community under terms such as “controlled opposition”, “gatekeepers”, and so forth. The idea is that apparent critics of the system are actually part of the system and function to keep the discussion within approved boundaries, and away from uncomfortable truths. For example, it’s been documented that much of the American political left, its organizations and publications, are financed by large foundation money (e.g. Ford Foundation, Carnegie, etc.)
The bottom line seems to be that we are living in a media environment that is calculated in a very sophisticated way to deceive us about the most fundamental things. Who is reliable? Who is telling the truth about A so he can lie about B? Who is playing a part in a charade? How much truth filters through the conventional media? It’s hard to know. -
