The second part of Temple’s book has nice and comprehensive bibliography of very rare English monographs dealing with the I Ching.

Although the first part is actually about the Greek mystery religions, this book is highly recommended.

Temple’s own writing in the second part is itself quite dissatisfying; he must have been in hurry to get something just published without having developed a real thesis.

So it’s the first part which is interesting from the oracle point of view.

One must fight … until one understands ….

Why is there an external ?

Existence is trying to create beings that will one day live in a non-corporeal inner world.  But when these souls are very young they cannot comprehend the inner world as it is extremely subtle.  It is subtle and beautiful and of the light.  But for a very young soul it just would be impossible to learn how to live there.  Such a soul would not be able to understand itself, it would not be able to understand what it is or how to live.

So, then there is a requirement for a school which has big and juicy lessons, big and juicy dramas with which to learn.  And that is where we are.

But … many people appear to be so lost in the outside world that they may lose all contact with the inner world and be lost forever.

If one is wise, one sees that the inner world must be developed in all haste, as it is only this that will transform the outer world.

Hence you need the outer world until you understand.

Once you understand you work on the inner world.

Is Chi Kung the inner world ?   It makes people sensitive to energy, but the inner world has no Objects.  Energy is an Object.   The inner world is only the Subject.

Why ?  Because monkeys like to talk but all their talk bores me.  No matter how dressed up it is, it is always the same, like all movies are always the same, all books are the same, all people are the same.  It is tiresome to hear it, it all sounds the same.

I only interest myself in the Light.
It is one.
It is now.
