Derren Brown is a famous (at least in the UK) mentalist/magician… he uses NLP and Hypnosis along with other psychological trickery to do what he does – if you know what he knows, its easy to discern fake chi demonstrations from real ones…October 19, 2006 at 11:48 am #18833
I do not know what he knows. He is not fully resonant with me and i shift only for matters of heart, so did not check him.
Tricks need skill to work, and he has it.
Perceive him as somewhat heavily ungrounded which is not necessarily healthy. Yet his is skilled ungrounded.
His ungroundedness is substance full. This is the substance of his mental palace that he fully developed.
He is the first public figure to suggest the use of mental palace on a collective level, as a way of communicating with other via the ‘collective unconscious’. Glenn Morris instructs mental palace as a personal space, and now is used as a ryu/lineage space. Lyn Buchanan (The Seventh Sense, a book) instructs on use of npl mnemonic visuals/elementals for collective communication. Derren Brown suggests using mental palaces for collective communication.
(short description of Lyn…: ritually/repeatedly establish firm connection between say a colour and a card ‘colour’ and then perceive the rullete/lotto (by doing the hand move to initiate a ‘move’)(either -in casino- slightly in front of time, or -in case of lotto- across time by perceiving yourself in future moment that is after the event, what one does at specific given times, the doing of course being a simple sensory representative of a lotto number)).
His suggestion was clicking and it made me clap.
Of course my bett is that he is also utilizing an altar that manifest the visual/mental body representation of the card being dealt at the table, in so not only relying upon statistics. The above video is interesting for it shows that he is not only mental/verbal (in his mental space/palace), he also uses hands.
