These are all political games that governments like playing.
No ordinary citizens care about such things.
Wars only serve the power-hungry, and citizens on both sides suffer.
They don’t represent the interests of the citizens.The best policy is always to stay out of the affairs of others . . .

this would be because of real events like Boston terror bombings with hundreds of people maimed and hospitalized
my argument would then be, if so,
why did Bush Jr. take part in insurance policies on the towers, why did no one address the real issues…
and why specifically calculate and manipulate a genuine event to personal gain?
No one on this planet has got all of their own issues resolved,
so no one has any business poking their noses into the affairs of others.What happens in the rest of the world is irrelevant.
Only what intersects in one’s personal life has any meaning.If the actions of others create bad such intersections, then so be it.
I’m not in control of others, and have no intention to try.This is why Daoists traditionally became hermits.

The only thing anyone has any semblance of control over is one’s personal journey, and that is only in relation to whatever the Tao/universe sends your way which you have no control over, and your free choice reactions in response.This is where all of the problems in human history have come from.
One group trying to control political outcomes vs. another group.There is no possibility of control. The Tao guarantees this.
Any attempt to do otherwise, is wasted effort.It’s not about caring.
I care that everyone reaches their own highest personal destiny in relation to the universe and the Tao.But this is their job, not mine.

UNTIL REAL ISSUES OCCUR
people live their whole lives (cough cough) without REAL ISSUES occuring
then the metaphysical mambi pambi is put to the test
We create our own future in every present moment situation when we make a free choice. This–coupled with unknown scenarios that arise that have nothing to do with our own personal free-will choice–makes the future entirely unpredictable.
Thus, for any given prophecy, it is impossible to determine if such a thing will unfold or not. It could arise due to choices that you make; it could arise due to unseen scenarios that the universe spontaneously creates that have nothing to do with you. Similarly, it may not arise for either of those reasons.
In my view, any prophecy is neither worth hoping for, nor worrying about.
It is impossible to know if it will unfold.
If it does occur, it is impossible to know if your direct experience of it will be good or bad.And . . . if it does occur, good or bad, growth will be the consequence as a reaction, realistically no different than any other reaction in life. This is the nature of the Tao.
