That sense of “bother” is ripe for some inner smile! Explore gently into the feeling of that bother, befriend it, learn its secrets. Sometimes as you do this it just disappears, other times it shifts into something beautiful, other times it takes you into more murky waters.
Eating can be communion with nature if we let it.

Participant“The Soul is crying for a reality experience which only physical life can give to it. The body is crying for an immortality experience which only the soul can give to it. As you permit this union to fulfill itself, you will directly know what it feels like to be the love that you are.”

ParticipantAlexander, that quote is just what i needed to hear, right now.
I was hit hard today, right inside, in a powerful, but very uncomfortable way.
I was told things I feel i was not ready for…………
That quote puts EVERYTHING in to perspective.
This quote is very potent, and needs to displayed in a place of prominance where everyone – on this board and elsewhere, can read it.
Thank You

ModeratorI love to practice during the night when everything is
silent and peaceful. My practice seems potentized more
so then, and I feel more like I can connect to a stronger
awareness . . .Steve

ModeratorThanks for sharing; it is always interesting to see what
others do . . .Oh, and by the way, I about fell out my chair with your
picture. Quite intense . . . I don’t think I’ll think
of childbirth quite the same again. Thanks,

ModeratorReally it’s just the part of me with too much fire; too much impatience
Eating slows me down; gets in the way of uninterrupted progress.
It’s irritating, but necessary. In fact, really it is one of the things that forces me to take
a break, so it is something that ultimately I need . . .that and more heart healing sounds to release impatience 🙂
Best,

ModeratorI usually keep a open mind with all points of view,
so don’t worry about it. Actually, I kind of laughed
when I read your previous response.I would definitely never try to force myself to not eat.
Aside from anorexia not being a good philosophy, I wouldn’t
have the willpower to do such an unhealthy thing anyway. In a lot of ways, eating forces me to take a break and
prevent my heart from running on full tilt continuously.
Any complaining is really just my heart spouting some
useless impatience . . . a king that doesn’t want
to stop barking orders . . .Haaahhhhhh . . . Haaahhhh . . .
Take care 🙂

ParticipantThe quote from that book said quite beautifully, in a heart-centred way, what many of us try to say. I immediately checked out the book at Amazon…and was immediately dismayed that it was a “Jesus” book (I’m unfortunately dismissive of Christianity). But, since the quote was so good I read some of the excerpt from the book…and was quite overwhelmed at the palpability of her experiences (and that lead to my picture of a Jesus embrace for you!)
Have you read much of the book? Anything to say about it? (I’m trying to reduce the number of books that I buy, that later just fill my shelves unread.)

ParticipantWonderful post by all, glad to have your input again AA. Glenda seems to us oils. I have wonderful experiences working with oils in a sufi tradition, very powerful. Some just by smelling the oils will help you expand your energy body.
