    Hello

I was thinking about my lab test some years ago. It was a hormonal test made upon the saliva. The test did meassure the DHEA and Cortisol level in the saliva and indirectly in the fluid in the cells.

My DHEA was extremely high compared to the cortisol level which was to low and under the critical value at the night.

This pattern could be seen amoungst people with adrenal fatigue who has taken DHEA hormones as support. I have adrenal fatigue but has never been taken DHEA support hormone.

I wonder if anybody practising retention or the universal tao system at general has had similar deviations in any lab tests performed by themselves or there doctors.

It could be interesting to see what has heppened to the rest of you!

    Hey SD!

I think you ignored my advice to check that Shandong Qigong group.

Try to ask some questions directly from Mr Wang Dao.

For example in this respect Steven is mislead when he advices only to follow Healing Tao USA. Michael Winn himself has openly told about how many masters he has studied with (and also those other gestures).

I think that at least in the earlier years they offered free electronic correspondance for those who are in trouble.

(As a comparison) also I have impression that (Shaolin) WOLF (Shi Yan Ming) have helped with very personal instruction some of his special students with medical condition, though he has always been very busy.

It seems that this group about which I’m speaking very easily arouses jealousity.

In this forum you see that there have been some discussion about them and it’s all there in the air.

    Hello!

Thanks for your advice. It might be a good advice, but it doesn´t come in the right time for me. I do so much for my health at the moment and can´t start new such projects to add with the others. Maybe later if my new aproach doesn´t work.

    >>>For example in this respect Steven is mislead
    >>>when he advices only to follow Healing Tao USA.

    This is false.
I’ve recommended many other things on here outside
of the Healing Tao. Doing Zen meditation, getting
some ideas of life perspective from American Tibetan
Buddhist nun Pema Chodren, adding a daily walking routine,
Energy Psychology, Focusing, etc. are just a few of
things I’ve recommended “outside” the Healing Tao.

You know, I’ve noticed a pattern with you of
slipping in some negative judgemental thing against
myself, Wendy, Michael Winn, SD, etc. in many
of the posts you make . . . often posts where
the people you attack are not even in the discussion
being had. This is not a very nice thing to do.

Also, if you mentioned something to SD before, and
he didn’t follow up, then that’s HIS choice.
Everyone is following their OWN path.

    Peace,
    Steven

    Sorry Steven,

but I actually don’t have “negative judgemental thing” against anybody.

I neither attack nor try to interfere with others.

It’s almost impossible to be impartial.

So if one is following , one has reactions.

Main thing is of course that I will go on lurking.

My question is: are you not really worried when the forum is abused?

It seems to happen, but it’s not diminished.

Those cryptically oriented seems to be able to continue…but why?

    I’m not important.

The forum is not a place that should be taken advantage of because of anonymity. Think of it like you are having a discussion with people face to face.

On the note about forum rules, if your posts become abusive, they will be deleted by the site administrator.

Hello , Swedich Dragon, it’s was not my intention to be any way pushy regarding this group.

They have also forum, but it’s very silent when compared to this one.

I thought that because you are sometimes very actively posting, it would be very easy simply to ask what these Damo Qigong practitioners have to say about your health situation. Or to post personally to their contact person. Any way that suits oneself if at all.

It’s almost like they would be boasting about the curing possibilities of human inner medicine.

Above Steven claimed that I have made negative judgements about various persons, but that’s hardly true.

It might be possible that some of my postings might have appeared as kind of sophism just for the reason that I have added to them citation where for example Michael Winn has personally warned somebody being too crude, only being talking to oneself, or maybe extreme levity of the content of the posting etc.

I happen to be myself so thick-skinned that it necessarily creates sometimes situations. I simply don’t care if I’m regarded as a somekind of snipe unless there is some practical reason especially to start to work that the situation don’t turn into too negative direction.

When Master Yudelove recently visited this forum he admitted that he is maybe not always regarded to be nice guy. That one can also notice how some have reacted to him in Tao Bums. It’s matter of not only how one is behaving, but it goes much deeper. When he told that he had been mercenary already that seemed to be too much. All are not on equal footing.

I some time ago actually kind of stalked Ribosome777 for his Islamic postings where he also very much disparaged qigong, though he had bought seemingly quite much course material from this site. Also he seemingly tried to somehow enforce discussion from Michael Winn himself. That’s maybe the only exception what comes to my behavior…

    Hello

I not realy see you as pushy. I thank you for your advice, and I will consider to contact them in the future. I am in a situation where I got alot of health care tip, most of them doesn´t work or work painfully slow. I deal with it by shifting focus. When I am at a new program I stick to it and try not to see other possibilities as better than the one I am at. But when I find out that the one I am at not works or not works as good as I want, then I am in a phase were I try out new things. This it good beacase then I can relax into what I am following for the moment, and not be owerhelmed by other possibilities. After all I only need one thing that helps and that have the ability to put me on the right direction. The mehtod I use for the moment seems to work, and there are alot in it already, so I not want to be confused by alot of other possibilities for the moment.

When I am at one track I put in all my effort or try to do it anyway in that direction. It is quite demanding as it is and thats way I not will contact them just now. I have already got some advices from Eric Steven Yudelove, which qigong and yoga program I do follow from hes books and I also got a meditation from Wendy that seems to suit my problem. I need some time to evaluate if this methods have any effect or not. If not I might contact the group and see what they have to say. But I have also another list of about 10 therapheutic methods I want to test in time.

It is not so much the questioning to the people on the forum you suggested that takes time, it is the evaluation and follow up of the answers, and perhaps also the follow up of an eventual program ore curing method.

You got to be kidding. Now you’re judging me too. I live my life exactly how I want to live it.
You are very far from harmony with the Tao with this type of attitude. You know c_howdy, if people are telling you the same thing about your personality, it’s a good idea to listen and give it some intelligent thought.
And P.S. I taught alot of people how to meditate in a way they never did before on Tao Bums. Some people had extraordinary results. Go check it out yourself.

PICKING THE HERB FROM OUTSIDE OF THE DAO (dao wai cai yao)

I’m not myself in any serious way in trouble (finincially, socially, romantically, with building a career etc).

I’m not at all also blind to group dynamics, but everybody just have to find that right group (right group to oneself).

First of all, Singing Ocean adviced me to behave like I would be face to face with real person. This is good general advice, but it’s actually more complicated in many daily situations. wWhat it means concerning this forum is clear.

Secondly I would ask what about if one oneself is harmony with the Dao, but others slip and stumble. What one is to do then? Double bind? Advice from Yi Jing? What was Michael Winn’s personal experience with Kwan Saihung? Messiah complex?

And thirdly, judging not is difficult. If I have been judging here it’s because I have been making investigations how much there is to learn (here) for me. I have not ever been a bully, but I have mostly had very keen senses and reflexes, and with those one makes easily enemies. I have indeed very often been breaking rules, but because of that I am very keen always to check what are the actual rules. So from there sardonism.

Fourtly, I don’t visit Tao Bums every day, not necessaryly even once a week, but I will surely do it when I have time. oOther thing what I will do in few day is that I ask few questions concerning the Star in the Circle (from Taoist Yoga and Sexual Energy), well I do it, if the webmaster allows…ciao!

    Hi all,

When I was young I saw the movie Marco Polo and there was a Taoist hermit who taught about the way and what yin/yang was. It was true and poetic and that was good but that was all. Learning Tai Chi was a begining of physical embodiment of yin/yang balance and centeredness and that was good but that was all. But somewhere, sometime, somehow unbeknownst to me I started thinking two conflicting thoughts, doing one of them and being unhappy about it, that was not good and that was not all. It still continues to this day having conflict within myself, that is not good and that was not all. I notice 99.8% of people are the same and that is not good. Others represent it differently like, “It’s almost impossible to be impartial.”. Impartial means without parts ie judgement.

There is the way of no way and that is the center. Through the kindness of all and practices like Fusion and recapitulation, etc. there is another embodiment. Now there are times where someone verbally attacks me, I am centered, but it DOESN’T BOTHER ME and that is good. The key is embodiment.

I have to cut this short because I have to attend to other things. But the point is for me I have found that words and feelings/emotions are tied together. It is only when you deal with both and through meditative practices that you center and ground yourself. IT IS AN ENERGETIC PHENOMENON to be lived, not something that happens by talking about it. When you do, your inner self is impartial and not bothered by other people’s outbursts. Regards.

I was accused that I pass critical judgements about various persons, but I have tried to claim that I an not at all such a person.

I have also claimed that it’s extremely difficult in present day situation not to be very often critical. Mostly such a tendency is associated with persons who more or less are imbeciles.

I have also never been interested to get any particular attention here.

Here is again quite interesting material from Rulf about not passing critical judgements and all that positive where it can lead. He calls it the path of veneration. For him it have seem to been the starting point for the spiritual journey.

By this time, the Arab-Afghans were already having major problems in their tenuous relationship with the local community. The Washington Accord, which transformed their presence in central Bosnia a relative anachronism , only added to their troubles. Even in Zenica, the stronghold of the mujahideeen, Arab-Afghans were forced to shave their wispy beards and conceal their shahadaa bandanas as they assumed a much lower profile. In spite of vigorous efforts to ‘Islamicize’ the nominally Muslim Bosnian populace, the locals could not be convinced to abandon pork, alcohol, or public displays of affection. Many Bosnian women persistently refused to wear hijab of follow the other mandates for female behaviour prescribed by extreme fundamentalist Islam. Even the foreigners themselves admitted serious setbacks in the recruitment of local Muslims. A young Arab mujahid pleade: ‘The way of Allah will take time here; we’ve got to be patient.’ But, in the hotbeds of jihad power, the fundamentalist wave had already peaked and was quicly receding. A spokesman for the town of Zenica attempted to explain what had happened: ‘Those who came here from the East came ill-[in]formed about the Bosnian Muslims, who are both easterners and westerners. Their plan to impose their way of seeing the religion and teach us how to pray has failed. They tried to plant trees here, palm trees, which can’t grow in Bosnia.’
-EVAN F. KOHLMAN, Al-Qaida’s Jihad in Europe

The Day of the Black Sun…or…what?

In one respect Tao Bums -forum is clearly superior to this one.

One can delete one’s own postings.

    That’s it, yeah.
