Hi,
having read some of the posts here (whether you agree
with him or not) but some of the works by David Hawkins
may provide an answer to questions on ego, enlightenment, free will etc.
A V. short summary
He calibrated humanity on a log scale from 0 to 1000
using kiniesology.
1000 being the highest human potential.
Universal love calibrates @ 540
Various states of enlightenment calibrate from 600 to 1,000
The world made a jump from about 190 to 210 aroung 1970 ish?
The series of books provides answers to pretty much all the questions
you could ask. I would like to say I understood it all but I don’t. Some of
it made by brain seriously hurt (probably most of it). The writing has a nice feel to it anyway.
Going by the blurb on the back he is recognised as
Tae Ryoung Sun Kak Dosa which apparently means Teacher of the way to enlightenment ?
The marketing claim is also pretty cool – Just by bringing yourself in to contact
with the material you can change your level of conciousness. (This would actually make sense to the people on this board.)
I think Hawkins followed a zen path for a while but gave it up in favour of
continual total surrender.
What’s going to keep the debate going on here for ages is that Lao Tzu and Buddha
calibrate at different levels.
I’d explain why it doesn’t matter if
1) I could actually remember why.
2) I understood enough to explain it.
imo its makes for good reading either way.

Hi Max,
I apologise for not answering sooner. Work was crazy
and I went away over Easter, it was a poor choice on my part as
to when to post.
As for the material by Hawkins I have not read all of it
but felt it might be of interest to people on this board.
It is probably better to look for your self if interested
