Hi SO:
Well I agree.
can you tell me why you ignore referencing Mantak Chia, you say White Cloud/M. Winn’s alchemy? Chia braught them here, why eliminate his name, he is the one to bring them here?
thanks,
bagua
Max,
I don’t care what other Daoists have been doing in the past. They have also done external alchemy of which I would not do.
My purpose of explaining it was no to compare Buddhism and Daoism, but to state the importance of following the natural re-alignment of balance and harmony in any incoherent pattern, ie. the workings of the Dao.
We should use methods that supprt this purpose.

Bagua,
I know intent is present always. I mean that by intent to cultivating empty space, you are bound to that one thing. I mean simulating Dao in the creation process. Not going straight to Wu Ji.
You misunderstand me for the pearl method as only Daoist. What bout Yoga? The Kundalini is your essence being refined up the chakras. There is a creation. Just as was in the beginning, and a continual refining of that creation. The self is a microcosmic reflection of the greater macrocosmos. Of course, it is not something new, I agree. But it had the “potential” for the creation of the pearl is there, and we manifested it into a form.
If we look at the unconcsious and concsious self created through Wu Ji, we find that Original Spirit being the unconcsious spirit and personal heart shen being the concsious “commander”, the pearl, essence, kundalini, etc. is the same thing. It is the unconcsious you are uniting it with your concsious intent.

My main interest is in alchemy, and after having taken some fundamentals courses with teachers trained by Chia, and read some of his books, I have seen that michael’s methods and focus are significantly different; therefore, when I reference it, it was to say Michael’s interpretation of One Cloud’s methods as taught by Mantak Chia. But this statement may be confusing because Chia’s methods are very different now than when he first introduced them, from my understanding, also the fact that michael includes methods from other alchemy teachers and traditions.
