I havnt ejaculated for nearly 2 years now meaning i have not had sex,wet dreams, nocturnal emissions, masterbated for 2 years..Can this be detrimental to my health?…I practice Qi Gong and meditation on a daily basis and can feel the benefits of saving your sexual energy, can feel this energy vibrating in my dantien while my meditate but it has got the point where i think that it may be doing damage to my body/mind/spirit.I dont want to discover that in 5 years time i cant have sex because i have a sexual disfunction due to saving my sexual energy..Does anyone know if this can be dangerous?
hey eric
i think you need to listen to and trust your own body/spirit wisdom.
ive learned the taoist and tantric stuff on saving your seed all the time but the practices just do not jive with my own body wisdom. i’d rather find some balance between physical sex and cultiviating inner sexuality.
my own body wisdom says to keep the physical pathways open. i agree that a lot of sexual energy can be lost thru physical sex but to me it makes no sense to open up all the inner pathways only to let the physical sexual pathways close. that’s my take, i realize it runs contrary to many teachings.

I would tend to agree with shining arrow.
The daoist sexual practices that I’ve been exposed to don’t just preach non-ejaculation, they preach non-ejaculation used in combination with (1) regualar stimulation and exercise of your sexual organs, and (2) transformation and circulation of your saved energy. Just being celibate without these other two practices is, in my opinion, neither daoist, balanced nor healthy.
So if you’re not doing those other two practices, I suggest you ejaculate once in a while, if for no other reason than to exercise your anatomy.
