The “popular misconception” about unbridled masturbation being “good for you” may fail to engage perspectives from Taoist concepts (Inner Sexual Alchemy with clear intent) for proper grounding, building-up, storing and working with sexual Jing Qi….
Along the lines of this varied “popular misconception” for improving health and well-being — masturbation, when coupled to the risk of exasperating emotional imbalance, creating addictive pleasures or draining Qi — may I draw your attention to the Good Vibrations website (San Francisco Bay Area) with their initiation of a National Masturbation Month in May (ca. 1995 to present). Perhaps there is need to Pause and Ponder about being responsible with our inner sexual Jing Qi.

Issue (2): Say No to a Booty Call — An Important Social Cause?
When you get a late night text from an actual human being who wants to have sex with you, politely decline with something like, normally I would, but it’s International Masturbation Month. They will completely understand, and in fact praise you for supporting such an important social cause. They might even think you will make a great parent one day. I wasn’t aware that people needed a special month named,
to have a reason to masturbate.
In any case:
The only good thing about this, is that it helps free
up people’s sexual inhibitions and the deep rooted
fear that people have surrounding their sexuality.
