This is the kidney program.
It is built upon a system where I count a number from day to day. The goal is to keep the number above 0.
If I do the whole program everyday in the same week: +7
Everyday no matter what I do I got: +1
Keeping retention while doing intercourser: +4
Following the program against insomnia one day: +1
This is my yoga program for each evening after 9 p.m. I have to do every exercise
everyday. If I had not done it during the day I have to do it after 9 p.m.
Testikle massage or testikle breathing
The meditation of the lotus flower or Fire up water down part 1 and 2 (Tao-Yin)
Qi self massage on the kidneys and ears and other plaises if I want to.
Four square breathing around the waist (Yudelove)
8 brocades “Grasping the toes with both hands to reinforce the kidneys” (Yudelove)
Six healing sound for the kidneys, taking out energy from the kidneys true the psoas
Standing and drawing down energy true the back, psoas and legs down true the bubbling spring and furter down into the earth
Breathing in the tann-tien with a fire dragon breathing fire there
For each exercise that I miss to do each day I looses -1 points, but I can do the exercises as short or long time as I want to.
Cofe -1 point for each cup
Internet porn -14 point for each time I go into it
Retention: Ejaculation withing 2 weaks -14

,, ,, 2 mounth -4
,, ,, 3 mounth 0
Half the points if I draw up the energy after the ejaculation

For the moment I am at -16. Did forget about some of the things I could not eat and also social convention. I was on a dinner with elderly people and didn´t want to disrespect them with not eating what they offered.
More comments about the program later.
It is quite hard, which was my idea also, I want to do my health care program more seriously than ever before, beacase I need some positive results.

This is about my new way of handling the retention practise and the symtoms of weak erection and dripling urin.
Today I was wisiting my MD who works with western medicine and homeopathy and antroposophic medicine as well. I was talking with hem about the two above given sympthoms and he told me that they where symtoms to the specific homeopatic remedy I am on.
So perhaps the symtoms isn´t from my use of porn. I did suspect that the homeopathy could have been the cause, when he read about similar sympthomes from the particular homeopathic medicin I am on, I felt that this must be it.
Still I like to deal with my retention practise with more focus and try to do the good things. What I mean by that is to if possible connect love and sex with one or more women. The above symptomes has scared me just enough to give me more will and streanght to stop the porn practise, I hope. So, let us not focus on that part, but the positive vision and program instead.
The above kidney program includes retention, intercourse and porn. The new thing if I follow this program is that I will do retention quite much regardless if it is in the summer or in the winter. But it is not an obligation, everything in the program is free, but restricted. It is like handling money, if I have earned high scores then I have scores to spend.
The reason for using scores or points in this way is that I often use a trial and error method, trying different methods untill I find somthing that works. This method with points did work quite well with regard to cofe and my sexuality at least at the beginning. Then when I did owerwork I didn´t manage to follow it and I did let everything be free for awhile, just focus on managing the work.
Now I am back to this program and so far using it for a weak or so it works quite fine, it helps me to focus on the things I want to do and not want to do. In some way or another I realy want to have the zero point and then I will not eat bad things on the list and I do the qigong etc. So it works fine for the moment.

I have to say that doing retention for just a short while has considerably helped with my erectional problem, but still not perfect.
I also like to practise Tao-Yin at the moment and perhaps the set 2 from Mantak Chias book, where you exercise the spinclers muscles toghether also will help with the urination problem.
Pehaps this is enough. I still see both of this problems as relativly smale compared to the big issues. Still they are nothing you like to have, so better trying to stop them or heal them while they are new.

Well beacase my new idea of my health program, to more or less do everything I can at the same time to try to heal the problem, I have decided to also do retention according to the kidney program.
The high scores for retention makes it more important to follow that part of the program.
Generally high scores will indirectly streanghtens my will to not do thoes things that I had choosen to have high scores.
There is also a possibility to do intercourse, which also if done in a proper way has the ability to heal my problem. So more sex and flirting is a nice thing to do this summer. Quite nice program actually 🙂

Erection seems to be cured. 🙂 😉
Instead the oposite problem, which sometimes occure during retention. When the big draw in it self doesn´t make the erection turned of. Instead you have to do some iron shirt, to add yin energy I guess

No I suppose I was wery unclear.
What I think has helped the erectional dysfunction is: No porn. Wery litle ejaculations or full retention. Using big draw. Using testicle massage and breathing.
Irong shirt: When I build Jing with retention I got another problem from time to time. That is when I feel I have plenty of sexual energy and I got many morning woods, erections, during the night. It then happens from time to time that the big draw isn¨t enough to stop the erection. That is even though I take up alot of energy to the head, the erection is still there. What I have to do is to stand in an iron shirt possition, nearly allways I then chooses the standing three poose. Then I does the big draw standing and that will solve that problem, the erection vanish by the big draw and it is possible to go to sleep without being horny as hell 🙂
I think this has something to do with masturbation. I know Mantak Chia´s advise is to not do much masturbation in combination with your retention practise. I think he writes someting about that it easily become a habbit. Well with so much extra sexual energy it realy is easy to make a habbit of it. You just have to learn to do the big draw emediately, when you have morning erections, and learn to enjoy the calm sexual energy, and not excite it to much. To clearify what I have noticed is that if you do much masturbation with your morning erections, then they come back many times during the night. I think the masturbations produces even more sexual energy and the big draw can´t handle it all, some get stuck in the sexual organ. And beacase I not live with a woman I think what is missed is the yin energy. Doing iron shirt adds that yin energy that also calms the sexual energy. At least this is my interpretention of the situation.
The iron shirt helps. It stops the erection. When having such erections that not ends with big draw it is easy to continue masturbating and then doing several big draws in a row. I know also that some of my trials to reach 100 days of retention has been stopped just within such situations. Suddenly I come during those period with wery exited Jing. The iron shirt is wery efective to end the cycle.
I have had in my mind to try retention without masturbation. But never have done it actually. But I have done less masturbation than before, while doing retention. When doing retention and creating alot of Jing it is easy to overindulge in sex of any kind. My intuitions tells me that this is realy one reason for why the retention might go wrong. You have to be able to create lot of Jing and still calmness even in your sexuality. Letting it be wery potent, but not overindulge into the nice feelings of it. Of course you can enjoy it from time to time, but not to much.
Perhasp I mysrlf is learning more and more to see the difference. One of the dangers from what I have read is that you create alot of Jing, but if you overindulge in sex you actually are loosing Jing in the long run, even though you think you are building. Scary things. Moderation is the key, but not allways easy to find.
It would be interesting to know how others on the forum doing retention, is dealing with overindulgence in terms of masturbation or intercourse or other sexual activities as well.
Hopes that did clariafy the issue. and perhaps also adds new questions 🙂

What you have to say here is very interesting. From my perspective, I wholeheartedly agree that arousing yourself too much is not a good idea in a retention practice. I have added a link to some interesting observations about porn from Dr. Makow.
I have only been practicing retention for about seven months. My first trial was 32 days, the second run was 90 days and I am currently at day 79, roughly in my current cycle. In my first two trials I did arouse myself with oils and stroking from time to time and did the big draw on those occasions to prevent ejaculation. That worked fine but I was getting overheated and out of balance. At some point, I realized that I needed to work on grounding and became somewhat adept at that.
In this current retention cycle, I have not done any explicit arousal/big draw sessions. I have maintained retention only by using cool draw and grounding, but I wasn’t doing enough cool draw and grounding. Consequently I had a problem with blue balls the other day after merely holding a hot young woman’s uncovered arm at the bicep for a moment. The suddenness and speed of the erection I developed, standing there holding her arm in a night club was startling to say the least — quite hilarious later, of course.
The next day I had pretty bad blue balls which made me realize that I need to be more consistent about doing cool draw and grounding, instead of just waiting for it to happen automatically which has often been the case. If I don’t explicitly practice something, the jing builds up and eventually it will automatically spill out or be drawn into the MCO. It’s very interesting. It’s workable to some degree, but I need to be more proactive and at least do cool draw explicitly on a more consistent basis.
Anyways, it’s a fascinating journey. I’m glad you are making progress. I think I am too. Certainly the benefits are immense and I could go on and on about that. One becomes accustomed to a high level of positive, sometimes blissful spiritual energy which is quite addictive in a very positive wholesome way.

I need to do some modifications. It is quite hard to get on the positive side of this. Yesterday I did watch porn and did ejaculate. And I was back to -50 points. That is almost impossible to come back to zero.
I do modificate the program when I see that it not is working.
So I will add positive scores like the following:
Taking away the +1 that I got everyday.
If doing my morning qigong +1
If doing my evening gidong +1
If doing my 9 p.m qigong +1
If doing my program against insomnia +1
My new goal is to take myself up to 0 whith this new positive points that might be added. Then later trying to increase the effort and modify the points so that I do more things.
Following a program might also not be the best method, but I´ll try it for the moment.

There is a clear pattarn to when I have problem following the program. That is when I am overly tired.
This time I was tired beacase of to much physical exercises. This monday I did try jogging my longer round, but it was to hot, so I didn¨t manage the whole round. About two to three miles, which usually isn´t a problem. At wensday I tried again, it was hotter than I thought that day to but I manage to run the long round.
At tuesday the realy nice wheather continued. I did meat one of my tight friends and we did a realy long walk in the forest to a lake for bathing. Both the walk and the sun bathing was realy nice, but the walk was a bit to long for me. On the way home I did feel realy exhausted and it did hurt in the kidneys and adrenals, whihc is a realy bad sign.
The next day I had as my cleaning my home day. That was something that realy was needed. I did quite alot cleaning even though wery tired. I realy should have taken that day of instead. During that exhaustion I did watch some porn. And this is typicall. It is when owerworked, usually from my work, that those things happenes.
Anyway. I think it is not a big deal what happened from one point of wiew. But from another it is, beacase I´m not follow what I have intended to do. When exhausted it is realy much harder to follow the program.
Anyway, this happening did make me think about the program, and it gave me the push to do some changes, the ones I wrote about above. To see it from that perspective is every step back rely a step forward, beacase it make me change things that might work better.
The retention practise is not my main focus at the moment either. Not as it was when I did it more diligently in the past. For the moment I just see it as a part in my total health care program. A program I hope I will learn to adapt so that it suits me, and in the same time learn to follow better and better.
The important thing is that I want some progress ower time with my energy level and health. And as I might have written before, this total aproach seems to work better than doing just some parts of it. Thats why I am hanging on to it. So even though I miss some parts of the program I do follow alot of others and togheter I hope everything I do will help me in the long run.
This is quite similar even though completely different to what wendy wrote about the universal tao practise. To have a strong will and still be enough yin to accept what is. That is similar to my health care work as well as seen in the practise.
It is important to realise that it is impossible to work with full dedicatioin at so many levels at the same time, without loosing the focus from time to time.
Anyway I do not like to miss the program! It is rather complex to be with it keep the will year after year, and anyway keep on trying.

Just a very brief thought on your program:
Why not reverse it, building up points till lets say 50 and allow yourself then to ejaculate or watch porn, which results in negative points lets say – 30 for porn and – 20 for ejaculation – 10 for coffee, etc.
You get a positive feedback loop instead of a negative one, and you might feel encouraged to do more positive things instead of getting disappointed in yourself like you have now. Please yourself with a bad habit and you will notice maybe that the reward is becoming ‘less’ of a reward but surely is not a punishment like you have now in your system.
You are way too hard on yourself, does that sounds like a pattern that you might recognize in yourself?
