THE mysterious Baltic Sea Anomaly is a 14,000 year-old ancient temple lost beneath the waves, it has extraordinarily been claimed.

The odd-shaped object has fascinated mystery buffs since it was discovered in June 2011.
The anomaly is a 70-metre long (210 feet) strangely-shaped feature that showed up on sonar laying 100 metres (300 feet) beneath the waves.
Theories as to what the anomaly could be have ranged from the interesting to the outrageous, with the most crackpot claim to date that it could be part of fleet of crashed UFOs on ocean floor.
Some conspiracy theorists even point out that it bears a striking resemblance to the Star Wars Millennium Falcon with a steel grey appearance.
Others have claimed it could be the remains of a sunken city lost to the waves years ago.
However, it has now been claimed it is a “monument built by highly-advanced civilisation built 14,000 years ago”.
A video on YouTube shown on the Archeodoku channel has made the staggering claims.
The narrator of the video, said to be produced by AD, says: “The stunning highly controversial… find has finally been identified as a submerged monumental construction from the Palaeolithic era.
“Huge geometric symbols cast into the ancient cement building represent paleo stanford hieroglyphs of the global Atlantean culture.”
The video uses slick CGI images to show what it claims is a mock up of an investigation dive to discover exactly what it was.
The video has been branded a “total hoax” by sceptics online.
The narrater continues to describe various shapes seen on the anomaly.
He adds: “The two metre hole with the square around it forms a sacred boat of ligature.
“The square glyph represents a planet, while the dot represents a numeral, together reading ‘Jupiter the One’.
“The circular format of the entire temple and its singular dome represent the paleo stanford numeral one, used by Atlantean spiritual traditions to praise ‘The One’ the universal divine creative force.
“The most conspicuous man-made geometric structure on this massive stepped platform monument is a large hemispherical dome feature that likely served to focus ultra and infrasonic waves into an hemispherical inner chamber accessed from the adjacent recessed corridor.”
The video has been trashed online as an out and out hoax.
One YouTube user posted: “Atlanteans… in the Baltic Sea… doesn’t compute.”
Another said: “Stop spewing this bullshit out onto the internet. It’s not a man made structure.”
Despite the video being hoaxed, the mystery remains in some people’s minds.
Baffled oceanographers say despite the structure looking like a rock, it appears to be made of metal.
The mystery deepens following claims electric and satellite diving equipment cuts out when near the Anomaly.
The 9-metre (26ft) tall object was discovered by Swedish explorer Peter Lindberg and his Ocean X team of marine explorers during a dive searching for a shipwreck.
Paranormal researcher Ryan Castledine, who runs the Mystery History channel on YouTube, believes the area surrounding the Anomaly, which appears to be formed of pieces of angular metal, could contain even more unidentified objects.
He said: “My own opinions upon looking at the sonar scans of the surrounding area, is that I feel there is visual evidence of more unusual anomalies, with unnatural shapes, accompanied by scours in the sea bed, which I feel demand further analysis.
“Reports have been made by the Ocean X team of problems with electric equipment when within a 200-metre radius the object, as if it is emitting a field that interferes with equipment.
“Initial interest in the anomaly was sparked by its unnatural shape, numerous right angles, a dome structure on its top, and what appears to be stairs running down one side.
“It’s on a raised surface of about six metres in height, as if it came to rest after carving into the Earth, a substantial area of what appears to be a scraped-out seabed is immediately to one side, which gives it the uncanny appearance of a crash-landed craft.
“A sample recovered by divers was reportedly found to contain limonite and goethite. Israeli geologist Steve Weiner claimed that these materials are metals which nature could not reproduce itself.”
Other YouTube posters are fed up with the ongoing mystery and said it could easily be solved by sending a dive team down to record it.
One posted: “If this is legit send some cameras down there and show it to us, we won’t argue if what we see is real.”
Another posted: “Its a reef. It’s in 90metres, stop talking and dive it.”
Yet, geologists believe it is just a natural feature.
Swedish geologists Fredrik Klingberg and Martin Jakobsson say that the chemical composition of the sample resembles that of nodules, which can indeed be formed naturally.
Geology professor Volker Brucherz said the structure could just have formed in the last Ice Age.
