Participantsomething i dont really understand is that she said our calendars are no longer accurate because time is speeding up. that doesn’t make sense to me because calendars and clocks arent lagging, i.e. my clock doesn’t read 1:00PM as the Sun is setting.
in the case that what she said is correct, would that apply to the Chinese calendar too? or would it not because the Chinese calendar is based on Change to begin with? and what kind of effect might it have (in either case) to the concept of Tai Chi for Enlightenment being in alignment with the Chinese calendar, as you described in your interview?

ParticipantFor those who are new to it or just would like to read an article in Four Corners magazine about Primordial Qi Gong, it is in two parts:

ModeratorIf the speed of time were to change, then *that* would
apply to everything–including clocks. Time is measured
via clocks, so if time speeds up, so would the clock
to compensate.Of course, then one could argue that you wouldn’t
notice anything, because no discrepancy occurs. This gets into the whole idea of what time *is*.
If you try to define time, you get into a mental mind gem.
That is, try to explain what it is *without*
defining it by “how it’s measured”–which doesn’t
really define it, or *without* using the idea of
time in the definition; then you’ll see how complex
the idea is.You can meditate/think about what time actually is
for hours, weeks, days, etc. and still not really
grasp it. It’s a healthy exercise, and I encourage it.However, let me go ahead and spoil the surprise for you.
…
Time is change.
That’s it. Time *is* change. They are one and the same.
There is no difference between the two. Think about it.
We perceive change because “time flows forward”.
We perceive time because “change occurs”.
If time were to stop, there would be no change.
If nothing changed, everything would be static.
Time is change. They are the exact same thing.Viewed in this context, and understanding what
time actually is, it is easier to understand what
“time speeding up” means in terms of all of these
intuitives and prophets. It really has to
do with “quantity of change”. Using common language
and ideas of time to simplify the discussion, it
means we are in a period of accelerated change–in
other words, changes are occurring “faster and faster”
and they are more dramatic. To use a metaphor:
in the stream of the lifeforce,
the current is picking up speed.I hope that makes sense.
