well it looks like one week later there is still no answer..
I was planning to abandon the forum altogether but your question and the forum response is irrisistable
this forum has, over the course of a month and a half or so proven to be a TOTAL disappointment..
new age fluff garbage in my opinion..
don’t know what to tell you?
i have not done greatest kan and li yet and your question makes total sense.. the responses are as vapid and inane as anything I have seen over several months..
the only thing interesting to come from here are Winn’s posts, and I am surprised to see no response?
your question is clear (I have done greater kan and li)
What are these planets supposed to feel like and what differentiates their channeling from any other “sphere” of an element..
also you are asking how anyone would know the shape of the planet or it’s tones to begin with
and why Venus would be totally opposite here from western astrological or Inidan astrological systems..
I, for one, agree with you that I highly doubt the reality of the elements as such (metal chi in the air etc) and even further doAugust 28, 2006 at 2:10 am #17052August 28, 2006 at 5:05 am #17054
“new age fluff garbage in my opinion..”
Soooo ironic, coming from you….
“and why Venus would be totally opposite here from western astrological or Inidan astrological systems.. ”
The Taoist Five Elements are NOT the same as the Buddhist/Indian/Western five elements. It would perhaps be more right to call them Phases instead of elements.
(BTW have you not read the Milarepa story?)
“the only thing interesting to come from here are Winn’s posts, and I am surprised to see no response? ”
If remember right, Michael said in a post that he won`t be able to “join the fun” for a few days because he`s busy.
“this forum has, over the course of a month and a half or so proven to be a TOTAL disappointment..”
If it`s so bad, why do you stay?
Also, one danger I noticed with the formulas, it appears they cause schizophreniya, yet interestingly all the “persons” have one thing in common – rudeness. (a half joke of course)
Anyway, I hope you (all :)) get your answers.August 28, 2006 at 8:00 am #17056
I got the book today, and while glancing through it I stumbled upon this:
“Because people wrongly confuse element with a physical object,
Five Phases is the more accurate translation preferred by modern
scholars. The five phases represent the flow of the unified chi field as
the cycles of nature and its seasons. This chi also flows in five phase
cycles inside our human body.”August 28, 2006 at 11:40 am #17058
thanks for reply
yes, still no answer, and your frustration is apparent reading through posts..
see Robert Wilson’s “Cosmic Trigger” for what he calls the Victorian addiction to belief itself..
belief as death of intelligence..
See Crowley (perhaps you are thelema?)
for Science aimed at religion
I just want an answer.
free floating metal balls in space just isn’t descriptive enough to imagine my teleportation through space..
I also must reiterate that all I did was ask a normal question and the forum has responded with, yes, fluff…August 28, 2006 at 1:58 pm #17060
Yes, many people into chinese medicine say elements are NOT really water fire metal etc
and some will swear they are the same thing..
the real question is whether when you sit down next to a rock it has metal chi within or surrounding it. Some say metal chi is just an idea concocted by the chinese for the sake of simplicity and some think that rock really has some magnetism called metal chi
whatever the case this passage makes little sense becuase this group from New York is one of the groups who think it’s really in the rock
why wouldn’t it be a physical object then? the segregation seems erroneous.
Do you think rocks really have metal chi in them?August 28, 2006 at 2:02 pm #17062
and some people think it’s some magnetic field..
what is your point?
Maybe Santa Clause is an alien with antigravity tech who laid off and left earthlings stuffing their own stockings with only his memory left behind?
?August 28, 2006 at 3:52 pm #17064August 28, 2006 at 4:50 pm #17066
I think every object has all elements inside them, but in a bigger view each object can represent a specific element. I don`t think elements are physical object, but they are there.
I can`t answer more than that right now (I tried, but didn`t make any sense lol), as I have other things on my mind (damned sociology) and can`t focus enough to express my thougts about this well enough…August 28, 2006 at 4:51 pm #17068
Maybe Santa Clause is an alien with antigravity tech who laid off and left earthlings stuffing their own stockings with only his memory left behind? ”
Sure, it`s possible. 🙂
But I don`t understand the connection you are trying to make here?August 28, 2006 at 4:52 pm #17070
You’re just like SatanDao …August 28, 2006 at 5:21 pm #17072
It seems obvious that you are having an intellectual issue with regards to the 5 phases.
It is my suggestion that you start back somewhere closer to the beginning and study the 5 phases within your body.
Can you differentiate the 5 phases working within the body? Can you sense any of the internal organ systems? If you doubt the validity of “Lung Chi/Metal Chi” I seems unlikely that it will be possible for you to accept the possibility of a higher resonance/Octave of Metal Chi outside of your body.
I have not done Greatest Kan/Li. However given the way you have presented yourself I do not sense that you have even absorbed the lessons of Fusion of the 5 elements.
Your intellect alone will not solve the 10,000 questions Mr. Intelligence.
Perhaps the planet is merely a symbol for the higher octave of Metal Chi at the solar system level. I suggest you surrender your intellectual questions and EXPERIENCE the PROCESS. However with so many doubts and frustrations about the method to enter into the process it seems that to experience this level may be difficult.
Or are you just sniping at the system as a whole in an indirect way? Your approach lacks a certain tone of respect, to say the least.

No, not very respectful, nor is pro wrestling which most new age fluff heads could probably use a dose of..
I have done greater kan and li, not greatest..
apparently you have missed the point and failed to read other posts..
fire and water definiitely “seem” to have effect in the body, but claiming that the air is filled with metal chi is a MASSIVE LEAP.. as is claiming any of this has to do with the afterlife
the problem here is DIGDUG’s question and the space between the lines..
this forum has lived up to the WORST new age stereotypes imaginable.. all you have to do is read between lines..
statements like “there’s no such thing as a short coming”
or worse yet:
“there’s no such thing as a positive practice experience” are pukable at best
get some science under your belts
all i saw was other people giving ‘diddug” hell for a normal question they failed to give any normal repsonse to..
survey 5000 people on the street and ask them if you can use a picture to teleport to another planet..
Sheesh..August 28, 2006 at 8:23 pm #17076
Ok, first of all the planets. How is a planet supposed to feel? Everything feels differently to everyone because our existence and paths are not identical. We have differing metapatterns and outlloks on life. (more hippie garbage, maybe.) but thats your problem now.
Now as far as how anyone would know the shapes or tones of a planet. Apparently you did not do your research. This has been covered for thousands of years. I will list a few points, a single source and you can figure it out yourself. Again this is your experience and your problem.
Kepler was a scientist and a Pythagorian mystic. Kepler discovered many laws of nature as well as laws that govern planetary motion. He also contributed theories which had a great impact on the theory of music (polyphony or simultaneity). To a great extent he used pythagorean five solids. (perhaps we should debate the credentials and expertise of Pythagorus as if we were all lawyers.) Kepler discovered the elliprtical paths of the planets, which invalidated the traditional circular teaching.
“In the twentieth century a mathematician and cosmic thinker named Hans Cousto translated the planetary velocities into musical tone.”
Donna Carey, Kairos Institute of Sound Healing.
Actually I could go on and on and all the way back to Sumeria but quite frankly I am bored. Do the research. One good source is Acutonics: Theres no place like Ohm sound healing, oriental medicine, and the cosmic mysteries by Donna Carey.
Your inability to glean anything usefull from this group perhaps reflects your unwillingness to go deeper into your own practice. Maybe starting there would be good, and don’t forget to breath.
As for Michaels contribution. He is finishing up several months of intensive trainings. He in fact stated this and the fact that he would not be watching this board for a bit. Why don’t you give him a chance to breathe before bashing him. Or perhaps you should all create your own forum where only those geniuses you see fit can join.

****this forum has, over the course of a month and a half or so proven to be a TOTAL disappointment..****
****new age fluff garbage in my opinion..*****
I think your expectation of a message board is a little far reaching & un-realistic. A forum is to connect people, share ideas…can you learn from a post;.. possibly get a different perspective on a subject at best. Debating, dissecting & trying to hit the bullseye on energy practices in a post is impossible in a digital world. Daoist Traditions- These are oral traditions and need to be expierenced in a “Real Time Environment”.
It sounds like your trapped in your “Intellect”, or “Intellegence” or maybe a lack of
all website are optional: take your mouse and click off…it will be hard but I think we will get over it.
