All I have struggled to do here on this forum is have anything approaching an intelligent conversation with ANYONE pertaining to practice and results and what is REALLY going on..
If you really think you are teleporting to another planet by channeling a picture in a magazine you are sadly deluded in my opinion, but the answer would be to test your results..
which SEEMS FAR BEYOND ANYONE ON THIS FORUM’S LEVEL..
if you think your soul is really golden light that heads to smile land forever at death you are probably equally deluded..
Where is the test of any of it? what about the absurd premise to begin with?
what about the OBVIOUS perception by just about anyone that what you are doing is tricking your pituitary gland nearly to the point of rupture while you pretend everything is OK everyday?
COME ON!
Are you so defenseless and stupid?
I have never said telepathy and Soul are unreal, only that the premise is absurd and needs some sort of validation beyond floundering idiotic belief
The world has enough blind faiths and idiotically hopeful premises..
what about glangular magnetics and proof?
Get with it!
Prove it!
Respond to a challenge!
Put some effort into it!
Like I need to tell you this.
Dou you really thinnk a smile will solve real conflicts in Life? what about competition?
Get real. Discuss a real issue. Stop giving flim flam BS diagnosis..
Go visit an ER and get with it.. Read a history book.
If it’s true, then prove it. And give a decent answer. Like you don’t know how to repsond to a challenge or debate.
October 18, 2006 at 1:10 am #18704IntelligenceParticipantWhy is it that in 50 pages of Mantak material on Kan and Li NOTHING EVER ONCE MENTIONS CHANNELING A PLANET the way M. WINN’s Kan and Li does? All he does is mix heart chi between elements and extend the cranium to the pole star..

October 18, 2006 at 6:30 am #18710Michael WinnKeymasterA. Mantak doesn’t writ his books, so talk to his editor.
B. Look at his Taoist Astral Healing (formerly Chi Heaing 2) book and you will note his heavy reliance on planets.
C. I attended his original Greatest Kan and Li, and it was comopletely focused on planets. But those are just factual historical notes.
I agree with you – if a practice doesn’t work for you, don’t do it.
But you’ll never find out until you try it. But if you are actively resistant before trying anything, what are the chances of producing a “result” , since energetic results rely on your personal constitution and thus are at minimum, intersubjective.
your premise of “objectivity” seems to deny the reality of intersubjectivity, which is the basic premise underlying Taoism – that the field itself is intelligent. You treat direct contact with the field as impossible and “stupid” until proven “objectively”. Yet all the “sensory” information we obtain through our eyes, ears, etc. is subjective. No single sense functions without the mysterious power of consciousness to activate it. Aak the dead man what he sees.
I already gave you the hard science behnd energy healing, in the article by James Oschman. Until you can DISPROVE his science, you are merely blathering and ranting – a totally subjective and emotional response, nothing scientific about it. So your post feels more like “dumping” your own frustation about something which you have not yet been able to scientifically identify.
Suggest you try smiling and allowing a feeling of acceptance to be directed to the part of you that feels impatient. And find out what is underneath that feeling, what it really wants. Probably words and science studies will not satisfy that part of you – just my guess.
smiles,

No further comment…October 18, 2006 at 5:36 pm #18716digdugParticipantBetween image within the brain and reality outside the brain.
this incoherence could be termed schitzophrenic if the a distinction between internal and external is lost..
what if it’s all pure delusion of the CNS, telling oneself that one is warm when cold, full when hungry..
one way or another your ass gets frozen, your teeth rot, and you waste away..
what if the coherence between internal and external is lost? SOme would say this would result in insanity.

why dig a hole for your self to fall into when you could walk on level ground?
