This is an invaluable book by Huang Yuanji, has anyone here read the Chinese version?

Looks promising, cultivators of the last century (i.e. huang yuanji) are usually more profound than those from this century, I have found.
And of course, commentaries by real practitioners are even more rare. This translation looks like it needs a bit of help in refining its english, and is a bit steep at $66. for an ebook. But I have ordered it, will let you know once I have time to go through it.
The translator seems to be very good hearted, more rooted perhaps in buddhist gongu than daoist.
Have you studied with him?
Michael
Thank you for your response, but I didn’t see you there.
Yet there are only two chapters available, but I found these two sections very enlightening, they have revealed a lot of profound information already. Originally, Hang Yuanji wrote this just for his students, and it explains a lot, there is so much information in the commentary about how to go about the practice of cultivating.
