This is likely just clever marketing but it is interesting. Does anyone know anything about this?March 20, 2006 at 6:38 pm #11677
I was fortunate enough to attend a prescreening of this Television show/ Movie.
I would not call it marketing. As far as I know they are not selling anything.
What it is about is the power to change yourself, your life, your effect on the world, through the use of “the secret”.
It is beautifully shot and filled with inspiring interviews with some big figures in the self improvement industry (for lack of a better umbrella term).
It is about the power of intention, the power of the mind to create your reality.
Nothing really new here, but packaged for the masses who perhaps have not been exposed to this type of thinking on such a broad ambitious scale as the producers of this movie have planned. they want to do a simultaneous worldwide release.
It has some of the same people who appeared in “What the Bleep do we know” and a lot more. It is really well done in my view and will do good for people to experience.
I am looking forward to seeing it again.

I just watched it. It`s basicaly about the LAW of ATTRACTION, which isn`t a secret at all.
When they told what the big secret was, I at first thought: “Oh man, I paid for this shit, it`s no secret” and I was sorry I paid. But, after thinking about it for a while and watching it more, I realised thats not true.
While I did read about it quite some time ago, I never actually started to use it. After watching this, I also realised a few things about my life. Interestingly this movie came just when I began to see things in sorts of law of attraction and cause and effect.
I also agree with Craig, that it`s not really new, but made for the masses, who probably really never heard about it, so it IS a secret to them.
Even if you know about the law of attraction, I think it`s still worthwhile to watch the movie. I defenitly recommend it.
Here`s some nice qoutes from the movie:
“What you resist persists.” Carl Yung
“Whether you think you can or you can`t, either way you are right.” Henry Ford
“Whatever the mind of man can concieve, it can achieve.” W. Clemenet Stone
“You create your own universe as you go along.” Winston Churchill
“The way you feel is everything.”
“Whatever it is you are feeling is a perfect reflection of what is in the process of becoming.”
