3. I Ching Chan Dong Qi
The No. 1 ancient Chinese alchemy classics. Very difficult to translate and lots of work need to be done. Here we will give a very clear explanation to each chapter of such ancient classic by applying I Ching theory, Yin-Yang theory, five elements doctrine, etc.6. Chinese Divination: Secret Retreat Doorway
This book presents almost all aspects of Chinese secret retreat doorway divination methods (also called Qi Men Dun Jia). It is one of the three amazing divination learnings in ancient China..7. Chinese Divination: Six Big Rens
This book presents almost all aspects of Chinese secret Six Big Rens divination methods (also called Da Liu Ren). It is one of the three amazing divination learnings in ancient China..from damo-qigong site.
There is qmdj online course by fengshuiphoenix. Question is will David Twicken avail such product. While it is internal alcemical practice external writting is still intriguing.
February 1, 2007 at 6:40 pm #20800baguaParticipantdamo qi gong, from what I know their QMDJ translator is no longer working with them so they stopped translating. I doubt if they will translate liu ren. qmdj is a big topic, seems people have expanded its usuage over the years.
do you want an intro QMDJ book all in english, user-friendly?

a book is great, but audio or video presentation is very well.2.
ultimately the challenge is:
1 understanding the designing of the system and its gist
2 presentation of its general principles
3 presentation of its external use
4 design of meditation that would make it internal practicelike primordial in moving or just sitting meditation
that would develop the body of qmdj
and all the while being integrated in other (taoist (or other)) practicespoints 1 and 4 being the meat
that would be quite a feast
3.
basic intro all english user friendly book is good.February 2, 2007 at 1:24 pm #20804baguaParticipantHi:

Without written explanation an audio is little value. This is a very technical method, not flowery. Elegant patterns of Luo Shu, Stems, Ba Men/gates, yin-yang, etc., a manual is required.2. ultimately the challenge is:
1 understanding the designing of the system and its gist
********************
I have this done2 presentation of its general principles
*************
Its done3 presentation of its external use
4 design of meditation that would make it internal practice

One needs to focus on what this system is about. Its about Time-Space, locating auspicious directions at certain times to support activities. It is not about customized energies, but auspicious energies for all, like drinking healthy water, good for all.It is an external-internal method, no separation.
like primordial in moving or just sitting meditation that would develop the body of qmdj and all the while being integrated in other (taoist (or other)) practices
******************
Zhou I Can tong qi talks about the firing and timing of alchemy, but is up to a person or teacher to find these times and process, it is customized and personal. QMDJ on its one is not.My Approach.
1. Know Four Pillars Birth Chart
2. Know what energies balance the chart (Yong Shen)
3. Know the Five Shen condition, both from post-natal manifestation and preheaven formation.
4. Find QMDJ days that offer five phase energies that support steps 1-3 and are QMDJ Auspicious, during these times cultivate in these directions, nature’s impartial Qi/Love supports your cultivation. My “Intro to Qi Men Dun Jia” book is about finished, just final editing.
has all five plates, step by step and foundational applications. It will be the first QMDJ book available to all, no sceening, in english. Im not disguising meanings, not making complicated, like most literature.Just curious, how much do you think a book of this type should be? about 160-pages, 8.5″ X 11″
regards

160 pages A4 pages is not big.Visual representations via pictures and diagrams, for each chapter. Since i do not read book, i think about it, using scanning the book as grounding, such visuals help such reading. Eight extraordinary book follows this.
Pdf format is great. It is never outofprint, and no intermidieries necessary. And great mobility. One can always print hard copy (and bind it), reverse process is more time consuming. A file is not space consuming. It enables ease of travel.
This goes for all books. -
