WHy you should stop paying federal taxes if you protest the War

Here is the way I looked at it for years:

people, if they aren’t primates, at least demonstrate all the behavioral patterns OF primates

I think EVERYONE could benefit from evolutionary psychology..

what does that mean? It means people develop in stages with replicable patterns..

part of that is fighting and competition

nature forms packs, people form tribes and governments..

one of the things government does is provide a help and way to turn down chaos..

too much murder, too much misery, too much grief, too many problems..

some people would say that war is necessary, i really have never gotten enough out of it for it to be worth killing people..

most of the competition would then come through mates, upbringing, and development

it looks like magnetic field cycles are going to handle the rest, that and interstellar migration

an occasional schoolroom/bar fight sure, murder and war, no , not worth it too much lost too easily especially in contrast with

the peace from doing good, the whole good, and nothing but the good..

this is a powerful state of being that you can touch from meditation, the New Testamanet, the teachings of the Buddha etc

SO what does that mean?

That means when people get ticked off and get in a fight or root for someone in a school brawl, it’s just that..

but when it comes to decisions in life over goodness, it’s great to have that good, the whole good, and nothing but the good

I see absolutely nothing worth killing over unless my life depended on it..

there is also ample evidence that there is some sort of divine plan within which soul to soul love is paramount..

the proof of that is in the feeling of love, family, and peace and the sanctity of knowing that you have done nothing but good..

and then there is the simple fact that there is too much better to do and work on..

sex, love, music, arts, drum circles, technology, space, deep sea, computers, television, theatre, psychedelics

did I mention psychedelics

pets, culinary arts, theologies

leave the fighint to the bar room and school grounds, put up the handguns, and go play some basketball

Then there is the circuit model, Leary suggested 4 future neurotransmitter states

5 – neuro-somatic
6- nuero-electric
7- neuro-genetic
8- nuero-atomic

as the course of dna developemtn in general..

war is at the bottom of that, way on down at circuit 2, where alcohol lives
