People here probably already know him, but in case not, Stephen Skinner was the first westerner to write on Feng Shui, and he did learn in China from real masters. I was very impressed with his ‘KISS guide to Feng Shui’ which isn’t at all the idiot’s guide it sounds like – let’s say I know my heavenly stems from my flying stars by now. Everything I tried from that book (although nothing that major) worked very well so I recommend it.
What delights me (perhaps only me) is that Skinner is also a Hermetic mage and does wonderful research in that area. Apparently his ‘complete magician’s tables’ is incredibly comprehensive and includes correspondences for Taoist magic, so I’m sure before long I will take a look at that one.
