The parts of yourself that ask that question have been taught by you to judge reality by certain standards and only those standards. When experience presents something to those parts which challenge its definition of reality they balk at it, want to deny it and resist the process of life which is to show that more is going on than we presumed. Why do you, the being, listen to those parts instead of challenging what they tell you? Why is what THEY question to YOU more valid than what YOU could question to THEM? Who has the power here?

When you stop listening to the doubting, fearful parts and begin to listen more to yourself, then you will experience trust as well as the tentative enjoyment you allow yourself to have and the questions about whether any of this is real or not will begin to vanish. Until coached to do something better, personalities are invested in protecting themselves from change, from what they are threatened by, and by listening to them instead of directing them, we experience doubt, inner conflict and frustration. Not that asking questions is wrong. It’s that questioning with an open mind is going to give you completely different (true) feedback than questioning out of fear.

Relax even more with all this and just let it in. Obviously a large part of you is already going in this direction or you wouldn’t have let yourself practice this stuff for so long or persist in your conversations here as you have been. You are looking for a higher level of fulfillment.

As far as “proof” goes, you will come across all you need as time goes by. Just leave your door ajar and create that attitude of scientific openness that comes from curiosity and awe about who we are and where we live.
