in fundamentals 2, on which CD and around what time does michael talk about the secret wudang version of the microcosmic orbit? can I skip directly to it to learn it, or do I have to have knowledge of the other methods as well?
Thank you,
nomadOctober 19, 2013 at 5:54 pm #41350StevenModeratorIt depends on which year of the recording you have, where it is located.
On the 2008-2011 versions, he starts talking about it a little on Disk 1,
and spends much of Disk 2 talking about it. I think a recording of the actual practice is maybe in the middle of Disk 4. Disk 5 is the recording of the new edition with the dragon.Just listen to the whole thing. It doesn’t take that long!
Unless you are studying to become an instructor, there is no reason to learn the other methods first. The only prerequisites are the Inner Smile and Six Healing Sounds.

October 29, 2013 at 9:46 pm #41354nomadParticipantlistened to CD 2 today, felt a lot of energy in my dantian in the practice… this is a practice into itself I think, I may do just this some days and not even go into the wudang method… will listen to it tomorrow on disc 3…
question, I will get to listening to it later, but what is the spinning dragon cd about?
Thank you

So it should not cause you any problems whatsoever, and there is no cause for alarm. The body has a natural intelligence about what it needs, so if it goes there on its own, it’s probably fine.
That said, if it feels uncomfortable to you, you can always bring your awareness to your dantian, and the qi will respond.
And, as always, if anything feels like it becomes in excess, you can always release it via the Six Healing Sounds.

I’d say take as much time as you want before proceeding if you want, or listen to it and add it if/when you like. I don’t do much sitting MO in my current practice, but when I do, I just let whatever happen…
