“Dr. Yan Xin is a sage of our times.”
–U.S. President George Bush, 1990
If this is so, (and if g dubya senior says its so, then its so, of course) how come I can find NO information on this Qigong, either books, videos or teachers other than the (vague) information provided at their website.
What is the deal here?
They normally sell a lot of booklets, maybe via a different website.
But they are pretty secretive as well. Yan Xin himself I heard has left china until the falun gong heat settles down.
He teaches a method of inner alchemy different than One Clouds, but with similar principles, fire below water, using flame and lotus and image of mother and father.
One of my students took his training and shared the details. If you practice intensely you get good results. A number of them go through breatharian stages as well.
But a bit cultish for my taste, altho he does promote spiritual science and open investigation.

I have heard of Yan Xin and had actually been introduced to his Long Distance exercises. I also believe it is too cultish for my tastes. His fellow students are “to themselves” quite a bit and have regular meetings where the senior students are “officers” or something of the sort. He would not come to Canada to make a known structure for another 10 years until qigong was more proliferated here. I have heard and have read some info on a few sites that tell of him making a lot of money from workshops, etc. that was to go towards opening a research centre and then all of a sudden he disappears. We are talking in the 100’s of thousands of $. Comments I have heard regarding that incident have not been too favourable. However I have not been able to confirm that. Just some stuff on the internet is all.
No interest to me.
