February 15, 2008 at 12:31 pm #27492DogParticipantI like the daily shows approach of reminding others that this is a day in the life of Irag. I think we are blessed to be so sensitive to these things to not be willing to accept them as a norm. I willl remind others to becarefull of any legislations made from these events, these events will create the greater desire to control one another out of fear. If we get into a this mode we will look down upon humanity and feel it right that we should be treated as lesser or evil and will look for the goverment to reflect this. I hope for understanding, these are hard lessons and I thank the life that was lose for helping use get a chance to learn and grow. We must open our selves, open our society, and embrass our childeren outerly and inwardly.
February 15, 2008 at 3:23 pm #27494DogParticipantWe can also educate are selves and others on the effects of these drugs we are giving are kids in replace for acceptance, true healing and time in nature.
February 15, 2008 at 8:18 pm #27496StevenModeratorI think that we have a problem in that as time goes on we keep
putting more and more pressure on people to work hard and excel in
society. It’s becoming a more and more stressful place where you’re
expected to kill yourself (workaholic) just to survive. Add in technologies
like the internet where people are spending more and more
time interacting artificially rather than taking time to interact
with real people. It’s a form of disconnection and isolation that
when coupled with ever-increasing amounts of stress leads to
explosive results. I expect episodes like this to increase.Controlling people is not the answer–it’s part of the problem,
as the scenario above is a form of control. I do think, however,
that we as society need to wake up to the fact that this “do more,
be more, work yourself to death lifestyle”–just to acquire more
consumer garbage in our lives–while becoming more cut off from
each other . . . is a failed system. What does our government do? Approve “spending rebates”, so that
people will be inspired to “buy more crap”–because doing so makes
you a good citizen and helps our system work.I think the system is headed for a collapse . . .
and I’m not so sure that that’s a bad thing . . .
may just be part of the yin-yang cycle and will bring us all
to a better place in the long run.S
February 15, 2008 at 9:54 pm #27498Michael WinnKeymasterThe disconnect from the cultural – mind reality and the new vibrational reality of the Earth is creating tension that leads to madness and need to impulsively discharge the tension. On one level it is beneficial, in that it helps to awaken people from the comfortable cultural slumber. It makes them ask questions, like yours.
mFebruary 15, 2008 at 11:55 pm #27500DogParticipant“buy more crap”
So you figured what they mean by good economy. 🙂February 15, 2008 at 11:58 pm #27502DogParticipantI feel thats right on, especialy about it starting to get people asking questions? I had forgoten about the poblems people will face holding on to an old energy if you will in a new energy field. I think you put it better.:)
February 16, 2008 at 12:25 am #27504StevenModeratorand the sad thing is, is that we just got out of the
Christmas season two months ago–which in itself
is only a *national* holiday because of how vital
the rampant consumerism is to our economy . . .. . . and already, “more spending” is needed!
It’s like society is “hooked” on an energetic drug
called “buying stuff”, and like any drug addict,
periodic “fixes” are needed to keep things feeling
right and to keep “withdrawal” at bay . . .Like any drug addict, eventually higher and higher
quantities of the drug at more frequent intervals
are needed just to maintain stability . . .S

Mianly way in the past when you had as much time and health on your hands as we do now you would be practicing Alchemy, and music and studing other esoteric/exoteric texts. Of coures if you do not have a spiritual practice to have fun with and explore, well then you buy stuff trying to feed that which can not be fed with technology, mainly looking for external means to releave. or avoid polaritys/disharmonys, as Michael put so well bellow.. There is also a trend for the poor to emulate the elite so when the elite could afford supper refined gains the poor wanted supper refined grains(and the rich are happy to led the money to do so). You usualy get a yang rebal(black sheep f the family) and a yin patriot the one buying all the stuff fitting in with the Elite or abductor(Stockholm syndrome). I wonder what the third is? I think capitalism has done some good especialy in China, soon Africa, I am sure they will put there own spin on capitalism, they will and are imitating us at the moment but that will change. So we get there spirtuality they get are matirialism and hopefully a balance will be found.
