She is said to have been possessed when she was a sixteen-year-old school girl at St. Michael’s Mission in Natal, South Africa. The girl was an orphan of African origin and was baptised as an infant. At the age of sixteen, the girl made a pact with Satan and this is said to be the cause of her demonic possession. Clara later revealed this information to her confessor, Father Hörner Erasmus. In an account written by a nun, Clara was said to be able to speak languages of which she had no previous knowledge. This fact was also witnessed by others, who recorded that she “understood Polish, German, French and all other languages.” The nun reported that Clara demonstrated clairvoyance by revealing the most intimate secrets and transgressions of people with whom she had no contact. Moreover, Clara could not bear the presence of blessed objects and seemed imbued with extraordinary strength and ferocity, often hurling nuns about the convent rooms and beating them up. The nun reported that the girl’s cries had a savage bestiality that astonished those around her.

-http://kadampa.org/books/joyful-path-of-good-fortuneI’s special situation where the occult provocation is more or less only about making the subject upset, frustrated and angry.
Sorry but in my opinion Michael Winn’s posting is about bhakti yoga marga.
So that’s only relatively small parcel of the whole.

July 17, 2015 at 12:14 am #44509StevenModeratorDaoists love the lifeforce and consider it its ally for personal growth.
If you consider it a “bastard” or something to avoid being “seduced by”, then you are really on a completely different path . . . not really resonant with the views we promote here.Best wishes to your path . . . S

According to tradition, it was written around 6th century BC by the sage Laozi (or Lao Tzu, Chinese: ÀÏ×Ó; pinyin: L¨£oz¨«, literally meaning “Old Master”), a record-keeper at the Zhou dynasty court, by whose name the text is known in China. The text’s true authorship and date of composition or compilation are still debated, although the oldest excavated text dates back to the late 4th century BC.
-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tao_Te_ChingSorry for my broken English.
Theoretically mathematics and physics are more important than any ancient philosophy.
Also there is no coherent creed and lifestyle as supposedly being Taoist.
This should be clear already with very superficial study of that ancient Taoist book.
Sorry, but I think this kind of personal judgements are in the end without any special value.

July 17, 2015 at 12:18 pm #44513StevenModeratorMy judgment is quite relevant because you flood the forum with posts, half of which are from you, and you don’t even follow the cosmology promoted by the Healing Tao.
Your brand of communication is to flood the forum with a ton of posts of the format:
—————
Formula for c_howdy posts:
*Irrelevant wikipedia entry #1*
*Irrelevant wikipedia entry #2*
*Irrelevant wikipedia entry #3*Comments about tangential Hindu/Buddhist stuff, not Healing Tao.
Comments ridiculing folks who are not doing this, or acting as angry inquisitor toward anybody who posts.

*Irrelevant picture attached*
—————–So as forum moderator, it becomes my business and my place to cast such judgments. In particular, when there are floods of posts of this nature, it becomes a deterrent for folks who ARE actually interested in Healing Tao to have the courage to post something relevant to the system. In fact, I HAVE had a number of people complain to me LIVE in person about the posts of you as well as one other poster here. To any casual observer, it just looks like a bunch of junk is being posted, not Healing Tao stuff.
BTW: Embracing and surrendering to the lifeforce is the whole point of Daoism.
If you missed the whole point, then WHY ARE YOU HERE???
This forum is for people interested in Healing Tao and Daoism.
Do you even know what the cosmology of Healing Tao as promoted by Michael Winn or Mantak Chia is?If you do not believe in the cosmology, then there are plenty of other forums out there for people who follow your path. And if you can not find one, go start one.
Thanks for your attention,
StevenJuly 17, 2015 at 1:17 pm #44515RichieRichParticipantI’m very sympathetic to Steven’s post and have, on occasion, been tempted to write something similar.
Most of your posts strike me as, at best, tangentially related to the subject under discussion. Further, they come across as pretty incoherent – usually a string of quotes, often about Hinduism and/or Buddhism.
If Hinduism, Buddhism, maths and physics are your main interests and you have little interest in Taoism, then I’m curious as to why you’re posting here…and in such quantities?
Or do you regard yourself as on some mission to save souls and correct Taoist misunderstanding? If so, you’re doing an exceptionally poor job. If you want to critique Taoism/Healing Tao, you should at least ensure your posts are coherent and clear. Because, at the moment, they are IMHO neither.
